What a fantastic experience!

Ray gave me a free estimate over the phone for a new water heater at a very affordable price. He gave me different pricing options for water heaters, so I could choose the right one for my budget. He was courteous and patient, answering all the questions I had.

We looked at several plumbers and decided to go with Drain Busters, based on recommendations from friends.

Ray came out and installed the water heater without issue. He was knowledgeable, courteous and answered all my questions. They even did several additional things beyond the estimate, like install a recirculating pump and replace a broken drain pipe that had only cosmetic damage. City inspector came out afterward, and commented how 'they knew what they were doing' and quickly approved the work.

Great experience all-around, and would recommend to others.

We live in an area with large Redwood trees that have caused numerous issues with our plumbing lines. I have used this company for 7 years and have always has kind, helpful, courteous guys come over...until today. OMG!! My technician, Jay, was rude, and insulting. He had a know-it-all attitude and did not respect my request to explain to me the problem. It felt as if he was thinking, ""why waste my breath, you are a woman and I am a man and you should just take my word for it!""

We have all new landscaping in progress and I was concerned with his equipment ruining our brick and stone work. His assistant tried to suggest placing some plywood down. But this guy clearly did not want to work at my house. I waited 2 hours to be treated like 2nd class citizen. I have NEVER been brought to tears by someone's treatment of me, and this guy did it. He clearly did not respect me, and it also seemed obvious that he did not want to work at my house, so I listened to my gut and told him to leave. If he was this verbally abusive to me in just 5 short minutes, how would he have treated my property?

I am sorry Drain Busters. After 7 years of good service, I will never use your company again!

P.S. My husband called to complain about how I was treated, and guess what...Jay, my technician, is the owner. If the owner treats clients this way, I feel so sorry for his staff.

I have known Ray, the owner of Drain Busters, for about 10 yrs. I first met him with a constant plugged toilet. He was so professional, polite and friendly,I have been using him and his services since. Drain Busters has gotten me out of some tight squeezes with plumbing problems over the years. Always prompt, efficient and affordable. Drain Busters is my go to name for plumbing problems and I wouldn't change it for anyone.

Bad experience, job never completed eventhough invoice said parts, labor, one yr. warranty...$1300 plus $146.57 additional part for an afternoon job! Owner wanted to charge another $150 to finish installing fixtures where he already installed the valve in the kit, when refused, he hung up and said ""sue me."" I went to another plumber who finished the first plumber (Drain Buster's) job and charged $125. He commented that my price was high for the initial work.
