We were assigned Dragon Plumbing for a Home Warranty claim. It's nearly impossible to reach them, but when they did finally come out, they spent 5-10 minutes looking at our system, wrote it up, and left. When we got the estimate, we asked for a second opinion or cash out. It was then that Dragon claimed they had already done part of the work, although they had never been authorized to do work the one time they were in the home for the diagnosis and never did any work. They maintained this claim when questioned by the home warranty company, even claiming they had repaired parts that don't even exist as part of our particular system.

I recommend avoiding Dragon. From my experience it is a company that exists only on work channeled to them by home warranty companies and one that won't hesitate to engage in fraudulent activities.

1st we had a leak. Then they noticed that we had a few rusty plumbing lines in danger of leaking. Dragon Plumbing came to the house and replaced the rusty lines and fixed the leak.
We had a situation with part of the job. We called and they came out and took care of the situation. We are overall happy with their work.

My hot water heater went out last week. I called First American and they dispatched Dragon Plumbing. They came out the next day to take a look and due to the age and lack of parts it needed replaced. They got it approved through the home warranty company within 1-2 days and had it installed the next day after. These guys were very prompt and had great communication. I would use them again. Thanks!

Edit - My review says I am in Florida, but I am in Cincinnati.

If I had looked at the Yelp review, I wouldn't have to experience the trouble I'm having.

Choice assigned this plumber to my under the sink leaking. The issue is with the valve, so simply replace the valve would fix it. However, Dragon technician didn't do anything, collect the payment then gone for a week.

The next week, he installed a new faucet, with valve still leaking. I cancelled the order with Choice. He then came back, took the new faucet, left old faucet parts in the sink and gone.

I called the technician, he said I'll need to pay him $250 to put everything in place.

I just wanted to share my experience, so that no other people would fall in this poor service.

Called late Friday they were here early Monday....
Replace my hot water tank in 2 hours.
Professional, courteous and extremely friendly..
They put up with my tiny dogs barking at them continuously.
Would 100% call them again for any plumbing needs I have in the future.

Very professional. Did great work. Did toilet installations, mixer valve repairs to showers and installed a water heater.

If Choice Home Warranty has assigned this technician for a service at your home, I recommend you immediately request to be reassigned. This ""technician"" came out and looked at the issue and collected the service fee and then never attempted to fix the issue resulting in my having to pay a second service fee to a new technician and drawing out repairs over weeks versus days.

When the technicians diagnosed a simple wax seal replacement on our master-bath toilet, Choice approved the work within a few hours of the diagnosis being submitted and I reached out to both the technician and Choice immediately to schedule the repair. The technician never answered my calls and my last call to them indicated their voicemail box was full. Choice was apparently able to get in touch with them twice though - the first time the technician said they'd be in touch for scheduling by EOD (they weren't) and the second time the technician apparently told Choice the repair would be more expensive and submitted additional work for approval (they hadn't come back out to our home nor contacted us for repair scheduling in that time so there was no way they miraculously found that the job would be more expensive). After the fact I discovered they also have an F rating with BBB and all but 1 complaint is related to Choice's use of them in their technician network. I'm pretty well convinced they're running a scam on Choice.

I'm still dealing with Choice to get the first service fee reimbursed.

They deserve a 0 rating from me. Do not do business with this company. They are inexperienced and a ripoff. My home warranty company sent them to repair my bathroom sink. They appeared not to know what they were doing. I had to call them back because the repair work leaked water onto my floor. They were to repair my toilet for $250 that the warranty company didn't pay for. It doesn't appear they put a new part in. The toilet was flushing every 10 minutes after they supposedly repaired it. I just received a $600 water bill when it normally is $117. I'm going to have to pay another plumbing company to fix whatever they messed up. This simple repair to my toilet is going to cost me over $1,000.

They deserve 0 stars! They were sent by my home warranty company. My toliet was clogged and I had a leaky faucet. They literally flushed the toliet and took my $75 and left saying they needed approval from the company to do anything. A week later the home warranty called saying they suggested work that $400 wasnt covered. I asked how they would know that without actually checking anything. They sent another contractor and none of what they said needed done was needed. To top it all off they lied to the home warranty company saying we didnt pay the service fee. I received a bill and when I called home warranty they called the company and they said I didn't pay them. However I have the receipt AND the proof from the bank that they deposited my check! They are frauds and I suggest noone use them.

First things first. Choice Home Warranty sent them out. On my gas water heater. After three weeks of having no hot water. Calling many time's with noone answering the phone. I was given a choice would replace the Water Heater & I would have to pay the extra $456.00 for the non covered items.
First Choice Home Warranty is a sham stay as far away from it as you can.
The Tech's that came in to replace the water heater were excellent. It's there Company that needs to work on their Customer service. Find another plumbing company.
