Called Josh diagnosed over the phone that it was probably a slab leak. He came out and confirmed and it was. This was on a Monday. We agreed on a price for drop of new pex lines, cap off old lines, and install a new hot water heater.

He told me up front they had a big job lined up and would do everything he could to fit me in. It took some back and forth and finally Friday he was able to get his guy out there and showed up himself to inspect. I don't remember the plumbers name who did the install but he did a great job and it pretty much took him all day. I don't envy him for having to drop lines in an extremely small spaces attic. He even cleaned up the connection in the garage that was honestly not the best originally.
He also helped me diagnose an issue I had under my kitchen sink and based on what he told me I have not had a leak anymore.

I will say the communication and delays were frustrating. Was I irritated yes. However, Josh explained it to me and stayed in constant contact via text. I feel like he made up for the issue by explain it to me and keeping in touch.

The only small issue I had was the mess left behind from where they cut into the sheet rock. However I didn't hire a cleaning service I hired a plumber. For me this was like a 2 out of 10 issue but for some people that would be a 10/10 issue.

Overall I would recommend him. I think he charged a fair price and did quality work. I can only speak to the quality of work I saw by the plumber who did our scope of work but it was just as well done as the commercial work I have had done at many many buildings that I have overseen.

Don did a great job replacing a kitchen faucet that quit working. He showed me what to look for and was very nice. We will call him again if we need a plumber in the future.

I wanted to relate my experience with DR Plumbing (and owner Josh). I found him to be dishonest and deceitful, AND he does homeowner-grade work, with Lowe's and Home Depot purchased parts, at Master Plumber prices. He began my job at a shockingly record pace, applying for a permit and marking my property for electric within a day, before we even had a contract. This led me to believe he was awesome. My guess is that he knows that, and that's part of his whole plan. AFTER he started my job, I found him to be unreliable, non-communicative, and non-responsive, and I found his work to be poor. I hired him because he was local, and I strongly prefer to hire local. (Based on my experience, I now suspect that perhaps he is NOT local. Not sure.) I have since read some reviews that said Josh was unreliable, but "a nice guy." FYI, I do NOT agree that he is "a nice guy," though I respect that others may see him that way. I also saw him that way at first. But he REALLY let me down, he lied to me too many times to count, and he did not keep his word time after time after time. I eventually had to eat the cost and pay a "real plumber" to come in and finish the job that Josh started. While the (very good) plumber I later hired to make up for Josh's shortcomings was tying into Josh's work, he pointed out all of the things Josh did poorly and all of the cheap homeowner-grade components Josh used at my home, on my water mainline, which a licensed plumber doesn't typically use. It was only then that I realized just how "taken" I was by the ("very nice") dishonest Josh. Buyer beware! Josh is a particularly bad choice BECAUSE he knows how to say all the right things ... while doing all the wrong things behind your back. He will come across as a very nice guy! And then he may very well let you down. He and his company caused three significant floods while on my property. He had one "family emergency" after the next (and he will likely have the same with you, based on other things I have heard and read). His unkept promises went on for a full month before I gave up and moved on to another provider. Josh will very likely respond to my review with more deceit and excuses. He and his company provided one VERY BAD and Very Expensive experience! There are lots of good choices out there. I strongly recommend you avoid this plumber.

On cold and Rainy day we had our main line burst to the house. No water to be had! DR Plumbing came out fast and solved the problem! I cannot recommend him enough! Gave a Hones quote and did a solid job! Will definitely use again and will refer!

Wonderful service by Don at DR Plumbing! We had a broken outdoor faucet that was leaking and flooding our front yard. He worked us in and got the problem fixed easily and inexpensively. Very honest and professional!

I had a water heater issue I woke up to.....No fun to say the least. I hit online to check reviews. I called one other place and no answer or call back. The reviews were awesome for this company and someone actually answered the phone When I called. Then he was at my house within an hour. Walked me thru my issue and answered my questions. Then went and got the parts and installed them and fixed everything same day!! Definitely recommending them. Also found out he is a local Flower Mound business owner too. Bonus points to support local companies. Thanks!!
