Andy was amazing! We live in an apartment building with very old pipes and were experiencing an awful back-up. He diagnosed the problem quickly and was able to provide a temporary fix while also sharing recommended next steps for a more permanent fix. CONTINUED PROBLEMS WITH YOUR SEWER LINE?

I used Dr. Drain's expertise about 23 years ago. Our family owned apartments in San Gabriel. There was one unit downstairs that consistently had sewer back ups as the neighborhood grew in population. During one incident, I called to SGFD to help with the flooding outside and inside the unit. I was told that the sewer lines were too small to handle the increase in use due to the increase of population and the sewage would move slowly creating a backup in the sewer line. Hence creating a back up in the buildings flow out to the street.

There were probably about 6-8 sewer back ups which spilled sewage from the toilet and bathtub of the downstairs unit. This particular unit had many total restoration work done and many clean ups and sanitation work done. I contacted various plumbers over the years and their solution was to clean out the pipes leading to the street. Obviously, this was not the solution as the backup continued.

During another backup incident, I called Dr. Drain's owner, Andy and explained to him what the problem was and what I had heard from the SGFD. Andy had a solution and he took time to explain it to me in laymen terms and it all made sense. There was some extensive digging and new pipe engineering done and a few thousand of dollars later, the sewer back ups completely stopped! Andy is trustworthy, honest, listened, understood the issues and had the correct solution.

Twenty years later, the building was sold and there was never a back up during those 20 years after Andy did his magic. Dr. Drain is well worth your time, effort and peace of mind. I did post a previous review in 2020 for another location and I still feel the same about this business. I highly recommend Dr. Drain Rooter Service!

Excellent service! I called on a Sunday afternoon for my clogged 3 compartment sink in my restaurant, Papilles Bistro. He arrived in less than an hour, fixed the clog in 15 minutes. All for likely the most reasonable price out there. Will be my go-to for plumbing issues.

I recently had an emergency sewer back up. I say emergency because my house was flooding from both toilets and tub and shower with raw sewage. As soon as I called Andy he was on his way. When he arrived he noticed water coming out of the sewer lid in the street. Andy immediately got on the phone to the city and had a truck dispatched to our street but in the mean time Andy was able to open the sewer line and record it for the the city guys to see. Andy was able to locate and mark the area in the city line that was full of roots. The evidence Andy provided to my attorney was more then enough to have the damage to our home paid for by our insurance and the city. Dr Drain Andy's the best

Andy had the lovely task of replacing our sewer line along with adding two clean outs. When Andy first arrived, he ran the camera through to find out what was going on with the line. We could see parts of the pipes were damaged and things were not flowing as they should be. It was a Monday when Andy came by to access the damage. He said he could have the job done by Friday. He finished the job on the day he had promised.
Since I was unable to be on the property while the line was being worked on, Andy volunteered to send me pictures and videos as the work was being completed. I've worked with many service people before and none have offered pictures and videos through the duration of the job. That just tells me he's a good, honest worker.
All the work was done without inconveniencing anyone living at the house. He gave plenty of notice of when the water would be shut down so everyone can prepare ahead of time.
Andy was always prompt whenever I had to meet with him. He's easy to talk to and explains everything in simple terms. He loves to chat which is ok with me. For those who aren't chatters, I am certain Andy will sense it and just focus on the job :)
I hope all the plumbing issues on this property is taken care of for years to come. But, if I do run into another issue, I will not hesitate to call on Andy again.
