At least a half dozen more times, DPS has come through on some home and work disasters (last minute and often after-hour jobs). Quality work, done the right way the first time, and just professional and nice about getting the calls. Also- Dave does run gas pipes for propane in addition to typical water-related plumbing. He is simply the best and most responsive around.

These guys are fantastic. A termite inspector discovered that my hot water heater was in dire need of replacement, and a possible safety issue. DPS came right out, inspected it, and replaced it the following morning. They are prompt, efficient, and great to work with. I'll be calling them for all my plumbing needs!

He just came by to look at my dishwasher that isn't draining within 30 minutes of me calling. My testimony:
I was in desperate need of a plumber on a Monday night. At 4:30pm my kitchen sink clogged and then water backed up. I tried plunging, but more water backed up though the drain. I was really worried it would continue to do so and actually overflow. Well, I spent about half an hour calling local business and leaving messages. No one was open. Dave got back to me and told me he could come by within the hour. In the meantime, a second company actually got back to me. When I asked about they after hour rate, they quoted over double what Dave quoted (and charged me) for the first hour. Naturally, I told them I wasn't interested and looked forward to hiring Dave. He showed up as promised around 6pm (I didn't call him until after 5pm), checked my clog, retrieved the appropriate tool from his truck (a power snake), and cleared my drain in about 10 minutes with virtually no mess.

It turned out that living in a condo means I share a drain with other units and my upstairs neighbor's water was backing up my sink when I wasn't running water. There was a clog somewhere further down our shared line, which Dave easily removed. I've had to hire a plumber once per year since moving to my condo and now I know why! It wasn't necessarily me causing the clogs. so nice to finally learn that. Dave also answered the 100 "why" questions my toddler had. :-)

I only wish I had learned of DPS the first time I had a clog. He's reasonably priced and deserves the business.

DPS to the rescue!!! Dave has just left my house after an all day job on a Saturday!! This was a dirty, sweaty mess of a job taking out old pipes , running new lines, dealing with old tricky fixtures along with fixing the mess, me the homeowner, had made in trying to do my own plumbing! Dave did it all with a no worries attitude he would do it all and with a smile at that! Along with the expertise he brings to the job he brings great communication skills he will call you back right away or leave a message, if he's running late or can come early you get the call, he is on time and explains exactly what it will take to get the job done. Great service, Great prices. No worries just give him a call.

I'm so stoked to have found Dave at DPS plumbing. Great service and fairly priced. He was able to come the same day I called him (he called to say he would be late which allowed me to run an essential errand). Dave is very friendly and experienced with plumbing. He unclogged the drain and tightened a loose faucet that was hard to get to. Although difficult to maneuver he persevered and was able to get the faucet tightened with some effort. He also checked for leaks under the dishwasher after I'd already paid without extra charge. Finally, he is aware of messes and used drop clothes and towels extensively which I appreciated given the scope of the task at hand. Overall I would highly recommend him for residential or small business needs. Glad to have worked with him. Thanks Dave !
