Dave is the man! I was lucky enough to catch him before his move to Texas. I called one afternoon and spoke with someone who took my info and said Dave would give me a call within 15 minutes. He did indeed and must have sensed my frustration with what had become known as the plumbing twilight zone at my house. I was stoked he agreed to come to the next day and take a look. He showed up AND was on time (I live up off of Alba road so it's not easy to find) He was great about explaining things to me and tried for a few hours to figure out why the washer was backing up into the tub... along with a few other things that didn't make any sense to me whatsoever. It was late, so Dave had to resign despite not figuring out the issue. My tub is a weird design, and everything is tough to access, etc. There was no question he tried everything he could. He apologized and said there was no charge (!!) He gave me a few other plumbers to call and wished me luck.

The next day he texted me to ask if I'd be home Saturday morning. He had been thinking about my set up and had a few more ideas. I could tell it was bugging him and he wanted to get to the bottom of the issue. LOVE that in a person!! Saturday morning, Dave shows up (on time again) and conquers it.

Dave is very kind, respectful of your house/property and a true master at what he does. He's also a crazy wealth of information. I was literally following him around with a pad of paper and pen writing stuff down (and he didn't mind lol). My only regret is finding him 13 years too late! Texas you lucked out!

Had a back upped main drain...,,,thought it must be roots....Dave and company showed up on time....spent 30 mins trying to unclog it...brought up a handful of roots.....told me some options....left without charging me for the visit....if an when i get the whole thing fixed..i will call Dave...

Dave is awesome! We got married a few weeks ago and took a few days off to road trip up the coast, only to return back home to the most disgusting backed-up bathtub situation... trust me, if you can see your new husband trying to plunge a handheld drain snake through standing butthole water a mere 5 days after getting hitched, you can make it through anything!

After 1.5 days of failed DIY plumbing attempts, we read the rave reviews for DPS, saw that they were located down the road from us in the mountains, and gave them a call. A very nice lady answered and said Dave would call us back within 15min. It was late afternoon, but he said he could swing by the following day around the same time, and he was true to his word! He and Tristan (Trystan?) showed up, got straight to business in the 95-degree heat, and unplugged our main line through the septic tank + removed the roots causing the blockage (a common problem, I found out) and had us right as (beautifully clear, fecal-free) rain within the hour for a very reasonable price.

Will DEFINITELY save ourselves the DIY hassle and leave plumbing to the professionals in the future, and Dave & Co. are wonderfully professional. Highly recommend them for any of your mountain house plumbing needs!

Dave has been a friend of mine for many years. In this time, I've watched his business continue to grow. Dave is reliable, educated, professional, sets forth any task at hand and completes it for his clientele. Dave is highly recommended by all in the San Lorenzo and surrounding areas. I highly recommend his services for heating as he's come in to my home and repaired my standing wall gas heater which the pilot kept going out over and over again and having to sit there and light the pilot to get heat. Within minutes or shall I say less than a minute he knew exactly what was wrong without even having to explain fully there situation at hand. I'm so grateful for DPS Plumbing Services. I will be utilizing their services for many more years to come.

Our water supply line broke over the weekend. I called five or six plumbers and Dave was the only one who called back the same day. He came out on Sunday, gave me a rough estimate and some tips for a temporary fix, then squeezed us in on Monday for a permanent repair. Polite, provided an accurate estimate and got our water back on quickly. I'll definitely be calling him again if anything comes up.
