Pete arrived at my house to diagnose a leak.. He was assigned to me through my home warranty company otherwise I would not have selected him. He was very rude and unprofessional. Didn't charge to check what the problem was on my water pressure . Gave me a quote on how much it would be to replace the regulator . He doesn't pressure you to do anything and is really respectful and nice and even wore booties to come into our home I didn't have to ask.

We had a ""major"" leak in our home from the bedroom closet door all the way out too our living room area. There are a million plumbers and needed to go with the company that was covered by our insurance..in other words we could not choose. I am glad they choose to have Down's Plumbing fix the piping in our home. It turned out to be a broken heating line in both of our bathrooms and instead of re-routing they were able to sleeve the pipes and save us a ton of money.
The insurance paid for almost the whole repairs and from the very first time we started working with Pete he was upfront and honest..
We would recommend Down's Plumbing to anyone who has an issue and is looking for a reliable work at an excellent price.

Pete came out and fixed out refrigerator water line. Probably the most honest plumber I have ever dealt with. Another company told us it it would cost us $800 dollars to fix the problem. Pete told us they were wrong on their diagnosis of the problem and total cost from Downs Plumbing was way less. I want to call him back to fix some minor plumbing issues I have now and to keep him in business. Plumbers that skilled and that honest are hard to come by. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

So what do you do when your water heater goes out, you call a plumber. In my case I called my home warranty company and they sent me Downs Plumbing.

At first I was thinking, all great another crappy contractor, I'm gonna have to watch and stop from trying to upsell me. But downs did not do that. They came out, they looked over the problem and gave me options on what to do next, very different from most contractors.

See home warranty covers the water heater removal and replacement, not the actual install. At first I thought he was lying so I called my buddy who's a plumber, but he works up north it's why I didnt use him. And he told me Home Warranty is known for that. So Downs charged me $400. Some would say that's steep for an install, but after watching Downs work and install it, it made sense. He even showed me how to light the pilot in case I ever needed to do it myself.

Honestly not happy with my Home Warranty that I have to pay extra for the water heater install, but it still saved me money and I'm glad I had my install experience with Downs Plumbing I would use them again in a heart beat.

If your looking for a reliable, and honest plumber then Pete Downs is the man to call. I had a leak behind the shower head in my master bedroom, luckily Pete was able to replace the part without putting a hole in the wall. Pete was on time, reasonably priced, and had great customer service. I highly recommend him.

Pete has helped us twice. First was changing out our water heater. The second time he literally saved us. While my husband was at work I discovered water leaking up through the carpet! I called Pete and he quickly came over. We had a broken pipe in the wall. Pete found the problem, explained what it was and his recommendation for a remedy. Considering what insurance did NOT cover, Pete's pricing was very reasonable. His work was impeccable and done in a super timely manner.
