Ron and his team are THE BEST! We bought a house with a salt water pool last year and had no clue what to do being first time pool owners. The previous pool service man was non responsive and didn't fully answer our questions. We were BLOWN AWAY by Ron's level of service and promptness to answer all of our questions! When they came to open our pool he found out the motor needed to be replaced and worked extremally fast to get us a new motor and install it! Our pool is now up and running and we are confident what to do to upkeep the pool this season. I highly suggest to use Downriver Pool Service for any and everything pool related- you won't be disappointed :)

Nothing but praise for Ron! This was my first time contacting Downriver Pools. I was having an issue with my inground liner, Ron answered the phone right away and was able to come out the next day. Luckily for me, the fix was an easy one. Ron made sure to show me how to take care of it myself if it happens again and was terrific about answering a few other questions I had.
I have been using the company that installed my pool 5 years ago for my openings/closings, unfortunately they have not been very good on the service side. I will be doing my business with Downriver from now on!

Ron and his crew are honest, reliable and absolutely the best in the pool game. We became pool owners in 2017 and no one could figure out our issues with our pool. We were so sick of dishonest people that were unreliable and couldn't get the job done right.

Monna initially guided us and told us to get a leak detection company out to solve our problems once and for all. Our problems were then fixed and Ron and his crew installed our beautiful, brand new vinyl liner on the hottest summer day. I give them major credit for what they do and I'm very thankful to have found them for our pool needs. Ron also reached out to fix a bad caulk job around our stairs that I told him I wanted done in the past. Others would have left me chasing them to do it!

Ron has been taking care of my pool closing and openings since he refurbished my pool 5 years ago, with new liner, heater, pump and filter. I have a 16/32 in ground.
Since then I have enjoyed sparkling water with no problems. Ron and his crew will always show up when they say they will, do a great job, clean up afterwards and are great value. They are also the nicest guys you would ever want to meet. I recommend them completely. I would never go anywhere else. Gerry

I've dealt with Ron in the past. He's very fair in his pricing and estimates. He's professional, comes in and gets the work done. He's always friendly and gives tips for maintaining the pool longer and so it's easier to reopen the pool in the future.
They always seem to be busy, but they try to get to you as soon as possible. I can't think of any time he's not been able to come on the day he says, unless it's pouring down rain of course. But I haven't had that either, so maybe he does! They also text reminders of the day he's coming and when he's on his way.
Can't really beat him in any way that I can think of. Trusting, professional, friendly and cost effective. Give him a try. You won't regret it.

This season my wife & I are officially a pool owners. The house we purchased included an above ground pool. I personally know nothing about pool maintenance so after researching my options, Downriver Pool Service was my best solution for my Spring Start Up. It's a busy season with Michigan having such a late Spring, but luckily I knew to make an appointment a few weeks in advance. The owner Ron & his crew were here professional, helpful and educational. Ron explained in detail every step so I could understand the process & provided me with additional details being we were 1st Time Pool owners. I am more than satisfied with the exceptional service I received.

We hired Downriver Pool to replace our pool liner. This was to include taking away old liner and getting wrinkles out of new liner and filling with water...basically a completed replacement. They left the trash of the old liner behind, they put the new liner in, threw in two hoses and left. The pool liner has large wrinkles and creases in it. When the job was quoted, he said they would work the wrinkles out as the pool filled with water. No one stayed while the pool filled. When we called them to ask about the issues and why they didn't do what they were supposed to do, the owner immediately got hostile and tried to intimidate us by threatening to sue for the balance. I would never trust this company.
