We have been using this company's services for at least 20 years. Our house is on a slab (no basement), plus we have a well with outside access only, so we need a knowledgeable, reliable, and responsive plumber! Dave and Paul have never let us down. They've very capably handled more than one well-pit emergency, plus several routine visits. We also have an on demand water heater to save energy (and money), so we need someone who can handle that specialized work. Both Paul and Dave are professional and courteous, explain what they're doing and why, and are always willing to answer questions. I also really appreciate that we can call the same company for both plumbing and electrical work. High quality service all around; have recommended them to several friends.

No Stars should be an option. You did work on my parents house in 2015.
They were told it was a 80gallon water heater and a 50 gallon was installed.
The newer unit you put in was dated back to 2002 after further inspection and has now broke and the entire basement is filled with water.
Taking advantage of an older couple should make you feel great. Any one who uses this company should have a second opinion come through before this company does any work.

We recently replaced our hot water heater and chose Downingtown Electrical Plumbing based on a recommendation from a friend. Dave, Paul, and their team are very professional, efficient, and responsive. We had an issue with one of the parts in the new heater and they came out promptly to diagnose the issue and replace the faulty part. Paul took the time to explain what was causing the issue so I know what to look for in the future. Highly recommend these guys!

I was very happy with the service and would definitely use them again. They fixed my shower, replaced my garbage disposal and when I had a last minute concern with the downstairs toilet, he stayed a little longer and fixed it. Best of all, great personality and totally prepared for anything.

Dave and his crew have been providing plumbing and electrical services at my home for over 12 years. Everyone has been courteous and helpful at all times. I have zero complaints about the service and they are careful when working around personal items in the house. I called four times to set up an appointment and have some questions answered and each time the receptionist said I will hear back from the electrician. Never heard back from anyone, EVER, to this day. She dragged me along for days, at which point I called another electrician and I promptly got an appointment. The receptionist even suggested I call someone else if I can't wait. I guess she thinks waiting for weeks and never hearing back from anyone is reasonable. I would give them ""0"" stars if I could. Will never do business with them again.
