UPDATE: After my initial contact not going so well, Joe called me right away after I posted my review to rectify the situation. He explained that there was most certainly some grey area in the discussion regarding the warranty considering my condo was in escrow. He offered to send someone out the same day to diagnose the issue. I am happy to report that the tech came out and was able to trouble shoot the issue and resolve my concerns! Thank you Joe!

Had a plumbing issue that I needed a pipe unclogged on my toilet. Joseph Ramirez and Marcus Hernandez came out and were very professional and listened to my Mom's issues . Then when they were asked what they had to do to fix the issue, they explained it and answered all our questions. I would definitely recommend them.

I recently had three hot water heaters in a 3 unit apartment complex give out.....they were just old. Wasn't sure who to call so I called Downy Plumbing based on Yelp reviews and the fact that they sent someone out SAME DAY. The young man who came to look at the situation as well as install 3 new water heaters went above and beyond my expectations. He was professional, accurate, thorough and was willing to work with my timeline. His name was Roman and I would highly recommend trying to contact this guy in particular if you ever need a plumbing job done. He was so conscientious you just can't find guys like this very often. He answered every question thoroughly, was friendly, courteous and worked hard. This place just got a permanent new customer as long as they keep Roman.

My shower drain started slow draining and I contacted my home insurance provider. Downey contacted me within an hour or so to setup an appointment.

I was extremely happy with their responsiveness.

The technician, Ronald Alvarado, was on time very courteous and professional. After assessing my problem, he also checked to make sure my other drains were functioning properly. Mr Alvarado promptly took care of my drain problem and again checked that the other drains were functioning. Once finished, he cleaned up the work area and gave me suggestions on how to prevent possible slow draining in the future.

My hat's off to Mr. Alvarado and Downey Plumbing Heating and Air Conditioning!

Jonathan has great customer service and very professional!! we had a pinhole leak under the house. He arrived promptly on time immediately got suited up and went under with no time to spare had our leak fixed within an hour!!! He informed us that we had a leak on some bad ""type M copper he replaced that section with new type L copper that's better"" If that's not good quality customer care and pride then I don't know what is. Jonathan is our guy from Downey Plumbing. We wouldn't think use anyone else but you!

I called my insurance for assistance on my old water heater that was not working. The insurance company sent me Downey Plumbing. I immediately got a call with in one hour and was told a plumber could come between 11:30 and 2:30. Kevin the plumber called me and told be he was down the street. Kevin arrived with in the time frame and tried to fix the electrical portion of the water heater but the water heater still ended up leaking. Kevin said he would come the next day with a new water heater and advised me of what he was doing. The next morning Kevin came with a new water heater and professionally installed the heater. Kevin came clean, was nice and explained the entire process and when he was done he even showed me how to turn on and off the water heater. Kevin was careful and efficient and already had the parts ready to install the gas heater you could tell he knew what he was doing. I would recommend Downey Plumming.

We had Downey plumbing come out to repair a toilet. They examined the toilet and said that it needed numerous new internal parts and the repair would be $350. Thinking, that it would be more sensible to put in a new toilet rather than invest $350 in an old toilet, we requested an estimate for a new toilet. The estimate to install a basic round bowl Kohler toilet was $755. I know this toilet retails for less than $200. I told them that I was unwilling to pay more than $500 for the job but they would not lower the estimate. I'm taking my business elsewhere.
