Mark our tech was very kind patient and always keeps in touch with us on the service very professional great customer service I would recommend Mark to any one at Down Home Plumbing company great Job just wanted his supervisor to know he has a great employee great! my husband and I are disable and he was very polite and kind and his work performed was excellent thank you Mark at Down Home Plumbing

I called Homeserve because our sewer line was backed up and they Dispatched Down Home Plumbing. They ended up coming out two times because the line kept getting clogged because the condition of the exterior sewer line. For both appointment I got a text saying they would be there between 8am-12pm. Both times they never came in the time frame. Both times I had to call and inquire where the plumber was and the lady that answered the phone said she would call the plumber and find out. Within 30 minutes of calling, the plumber called saying the office just sent him over the work order and he was on his way. How would they have been there between 8am-12pm if the plumber didn't even have the work order? So they had me waste my time both times. The second time Homeserve had them camera the line to see what was wrong and they determined the main sewer line needed replacing. That was last Thursday. The plumber told me he would send the pics to his boss and call me once he knows something. Come Tuesday I had not heard anything so I called Homeserve to see what they were going to do and SURPRISE Down Home Plumbing had not sent them anything. So I called Down Home Plumbing and they didn't answer and sent me this text. I explained everything and they asked for the address. Then never replied again. Finally come Thursday I called Homeserve who STILL didn't have anything. I told them I need a competent plumbing company. Friday they had a new company out and the company immediately submitted an estimate. Avoid Down Home Plumbing. There are so many other great companies.

The service and professionalism was great! The value was no problem as my insurance covered the cost, and this company communicated with me with throughout the process.

Down Home Plumbing and Repair: Called on Monday to make appt for water heater repair. Rec'd email saying technician would come on Tuesday 8:00 to 12:00 window (no human to set up appt). He finally showed up at 3:30. Not given any courtesy call update--called office and Katina said he was ""running a little late"". Quite rude. When technician came, he said I needed a new water heater and he would install one on Wednesday morning, which he did. After he left, I discovered no running water in bathroom sink. Called him and he said he would get in touch with owner Mark. I also emailed Mark, no response from anyone and office phone not being answered. Mark then called on Thursday morning and said he would come at 9:30. Never showed up. Called his cell phone. Mailbox was full ( more complaints??.)
I was talking to some neighbors who came in and found the problem and fixed it. Company is irresponsible, not dependable, and sorely lacks professionalism. They have no respect for the customer.

Never showed up never called. I called the main number twice. Wife handles the appointments. First call, we had an appointment and I was told to expect a call by 8:00 am the next day. Waited until 10:00 am, called again and was told the plumber would contact me immediately. Still no call or response. I gave up and booked another plumber. Plumbing problem now fixed, but not by Down Home Plumbing.
