Very disappointed, plumber had a two hour window to show up and he didn't call to notify that he was gonna take longer than expected, when he finally called I missed his call .I called him back two minutes later and he wouldn't answer my call he had two contact numbers and he only called one. By the time his company got a hold of him he was already on his way to another call just 10 minutes after he first called me, they couldn't make him turn around from going to his next stop so I just had to except that I got pushed back. He later called my phone and I was in the shower so I didn't pick up my phone but he didn't call the other contact number that his company told me he had , again just 11 minutes after his call he would not answer his phone after we tried many times from both of the contact numbers, of course it's a long weekend and I'm sure he wanted to get home as soon as possible but it's not fair that we had to put things on hold and have to deal with the inconvenience of not being able to use our kitchen zinc. I just feel there was little to no effort in trying to come out to my home! !

Dove Plumbing was sent by the home warranty company to take a look at a 41 year old leaky toilet. Frank (the technician) was late one hour and had attitude. He took a look at the toilet and said that the leak is from the joint between the tank and the main body and that he will contact the insurance company to see if they want to repair or replace the toilet. On his written report, however, he mentioned that the edge of the toilet is grouted to the floor. I had no idea how is that related to the problem! (see below).

The insurance company called me about an hour later and told me that they are going to have to deny the claim because the technician has reported that we had tried to over-tighten a bolt and that resulted in cracking the toilet and causing the leak! All of that of course was false. So I called Dove Plumbing and tried to talk to Frank but he refused to take my call.

After a little head scratching and research on Dove Plumbing, I realized that these guys are in the habit of reporting false statements to the insurance companies anytime they feel that the work is too hard and they cannot make a quick and easy buck out of it! In our specific case, Frank assumed that if he had to remove the toilet with grout, it would be too hard so he filed a false report knowing that the insurance company would deny the claim and then he won't have to do the work. These guys are not only incompetent and lazy, but also liars and unprofessional. I would have given them a zero star if the Yelp system would allow that.

This is a follow-up to my review dated 9/15/13. Frank the plumber came out originally on September 4, 2013,. He snaked my shower because I had begun to shower with water pooling at my feet. Well the water is back. This is a lousy Company who contracts with Fidelity Home Warranty. I will never have them in my home again. I suggest you not let them into your home either.

Dove Plumbing was prompt and courteous and I would recommend them to anyone with a plumbing issue. Frank fixed our broken shower quickly and was very friendly through the whole process. Thanks for the great service!

One star too much for this company. My new tenant moved in last weekend and could not use his garbage disposal. Used the key to loosen the disposal, but it kept shorting out. So, we waited a few days for Dove Plumbing who came out today. My property manager was with the tenant waiting for the plumber. They looked out the window and saw the plumber's truck going down the street - He called my mgr. to say no one was home - she told him he went to the wrong unit and to please come back. He said he was too far away - she said she just saw him drive down the road, please just turn around and come back - He hung up on her!

This company was sent by Fidelity Home Warranty company and this is the third problem we have had with them and their workers. I have 5 contracts with Fidelity and when they mature, I will cancel all of them. They do not allow cancellation and will not return prorata premiums in California.

Worst company ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Please get someone else!!!!!!! All the guy did was talk about how he was the plumber for ""Octomom"". Awful!!!!!!!!! Tried to refer me ""24 Hour Water Restoration"" for thousands of dollars. Acted like the job was going to costs 5,000 when really it was only a couple hundred. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!

I moved into a house which had new laminate floor installed downstairs, including in the bathroom. A few days ago I noticed that the floor that surrounded the toilet had bubbled from both sides of the toilet. We stopped using the toilet and I called my Homeowners Insurance Company to explain the situation full detail. They sent out a Plumber from this company.

The ""Plumber"" that came to my house was in my opinion, pathetic. All he did was turn on his flashlight, look that the toilet, flushed the toilet, and asked me what the problem was.
I showed him the obvious bubbling, which has now spread to the wall. Then he said, well your toilet is working, what's the problem. I explained that the laminate floor was installed before we moved in and now its lifting. There is a leak. A long story short, he talked in circles and said that I should get a flooring company in here to fix the leak. ?!?!?!? Wait what?!?!?! A flooring company to fix the leak? Isn't that what a plumber does?
Then he preceded with ""You have a $60 deductible that should be paid."" Then said that he had to call the insurance company to determine what he should do. After a 10 minute phone call, he said that the Insurance company was going to call me with my options, then ran back to his truck and left. Needless to say, I didn't pay the $60.

You call yourself a plumber??? Thanks for wasting my time...
If I could give less than 1 star I would, because not only did he not fix the problem, he tried to make me fix it myself.

Questionable integrity.
George is he owner. He came to my place for a Home Warranty job. Our kitchen sink faucet was broken and he said that it was due to the erosion of the connection from the hard water and chemicals that the water company puts in the water, as well as use over time. He said he would call the home warranty company on the way to his next job to report his findings.

After two days he had not called and we were waiting for an answer on the replacement information from our HW company. They ended up having to call him, and when they did reach him, he reported that the sink broke due to excessive force being placed on the faucet. A completely different story from what he told us.

The Home Warranty company allowed for us to get a second opinion and that company did confirm that the use over time and chemicals in the water caused the sink to break.

I called George three times to discuss the miscommunication but he never returned my calls.

I don 't know what his motivation for lying was but he did not care to discuss it and now he will lose confidence with the home warranty company.

Customer service is vital in this day and age. Dove doesn't care about it.

This company was most unprofessional even though they were scheduled by my home warranty company. They had scheduled us for service between 9 and 11:30 AM with a 1/2 hour courtesy call. When 11:30 rolled by, I called the company (after getting busy signal for 5 minutes). She checked the plumber and said that he had to pick up some supplies (lunch?) and would be there within the hour. The hour came and went so I called home warranty company and canceled the work order and then removed them from the guest list so that they couldn't get through the security gate.

I don't know what's with these companies. They think we have no options? Or maybe they have so much work that they don't need to consider the customer.

A week ago George the plumber came to my house to check on the shower valves and water heater. He removed the faucet handles in the tub and told me he had approval from Fidelity to replace them. I never heard from him again. When i called five days later there was no answer on their phone for hours and no answer machine. Yesterday i asked Fidelity to contact George and ask him to call me. He did not. Today his office lady Marie said George would call me back in 15 minutes. He never called. I called Marie again to say that my tenant has moved in and cannot turn on the shower in the only bathroom there is. I asked when i can get an appointment to have the faucet replaced and she said next week and that George has not yet purchased the part. She said he told her he was waiting for my call. For what? i asked her. She said he must be confusing me with another client and hung up on me.
Fidelity said that George reported that the water heater is operational even though he told me he would replace it except for the vent which is not covered. The fact is, George never tested the water heater, never even turned it on.
This company is not dealing fairly or professionally. I recommend you find another plumber/heating company who is reliable.
