The apartment I live in is positioned directly above an open entrance that slopes downward into the open air garage of my building. In the winter, this sometimes creates a powerful wind tunnel which forces freezing cold air to circulate beneath, around and against the walls and windows of my unit. Under these conditions, my boiler often struggles to maintain the adequate amount of heat needed to pass through surrounding pipes that are blasted with icy and wintry temperatures. Consequently, my boiler stops running after being overworked from sustaining the output of heat needed to combat the arctic winds caused by my building's poorly thought out construction and insulation.

Fortunately, a family member referred me to Doug's Plumbing & Heating. I could not imagine a group of plumbers more professional, courteous, and pleasant as they are. I contact them whenever my boiler has stopped operating due to frigid conditions. Each time, Mr. Duval or a member of his staff came through in a timely manner and fixed or replaced whatever needed fixing or replacing to return my boiler back to its fully functioning state. I was also given regular updates so that I was never left wondering when or how long it would be before the heat and hot water returned. I would again like to note that these various repairs weren't necessitated by a faulty boiler but by a combination of where my apartment is situated and my building's inability to withstand prolonged periods of sub-freezing climates.

Mr. Duval is a master plumber but what sets him apart is his altruistic nature that makes him a gentleman who considers his clients' predicament and empathizes with their plight. On several instances, he or one of his colleagues has graciously assisted and saved me from either creating a potential fire hazard (by having to overload my electrical sockets with space heaters), or literally freezing to death. I can not make a higher recommendation of, nor can I express my gratitude enough to Doug's Plumbing & Heating.
