My experience started out well. Lois was very professional and courteous and scheduled my appointment promptly. The tech who came out could only do a partial repair as I was required to do addition pre work and provide photo evidence that the pre work was done or pay them a minimum of $300 to do said work. Then things turned sour when I had to deal with Shawn twice over the phone. He was rude, yelling at me, and downright unprofessional. I ended up calling HomeServe to ask for a different company to complete the work. HomeServe apologized and I have a different company coming to complete the work. I would never use this company again and could not recommend them based on Shawn's behavior, outweighing my positive encounter with Lori and the initial tech who did the partial repair.

We called Home Serve on a Sunday afternoon to schedule an appointment due to a leaky water heater. They forwarded our request to Douglas and Sons and we heard from them soon after and had an appointment with a plumber the following day between 10am and 2pm. Max Hull, the plumber, came out and within a few minutes decided a plan of action. He drained the old unit and tied off the lines so we could have access to water and eliminate the leak. By Wednesday morning at 7am, he was back with a helper to install a brand new hot water heater. The install took 2 1/2 hours from beginning to end. They were prompt, polite and professional. They took the time to teach me all I needed to know about the new unit and how to maintain and troubleshoot going forward. I appreciate their due diligence. They were efficient with their time, very professional and performed a thorough walk-thru and clean up before leaving. I don't know how it could have gone any better. We had a great experience with this plumbing company. Their plumber, Max, was professional, communicative and did a great job on a complex fix. They did it quickly and efficiently, cleaning up as they went. We plan to have them back for more work.

My water heater was leaking and Charles came out to look at it, noticed where it was leaking and immediately ordered a new one and expansion tank. I just had the expansion tank replaced a couple of years ago and Charles stated it was too big for my unit so he recommended a smaller one. Two days later, Charles and Chris showed up on time, was very respectful of my house by wearing footies over their boots, and said how long it would take. When they rolled the old unit out, the wheels on the dolly were covered as not to mess up my carpet. The new one was installed, leaking had stopped and they even cleaned up most of the water that was on my floor and added a drip tube to my drain. I couldn't have asked for a more professional and complete job. Thanks to Charles and Chris for excellent work! I highly recommended Douglas and Sons Services!

I have had consistently good and prompt service from Douglas & Sons.

I have a Navien tankless water heater/radiator that has an issue every few years. When I'm on my game, I get Douglas & Sons to flush it and keep it working. When I'm not, like this year, and it goes out, they're quick to help
get it back online.

The technicians are also nice people with good energy,

Water Heater replacement and piping, plus two portions of HVAC flu line replacement went smooth as butter with Mr. Walter & Mr. Max. Couldn't ask for more competent and professional Technicians not only great at their crafts, but their customer rapport and respect was superb. Both are great assets and representatives of Douglas & Son Services. The value and quality of their work is stellar, and as these are products that don't often go bad, it's a true comfort to know workmanship of this caliber is only a phone call away.

Please stay away! This is the WORST and SCAM contractor/company I have ever dealt with in my life. They came and inspect my HVAC via Homeserve. Homeserve should Terminate this Scam company ASAP.

Instead of helping me to solve the problem, they tried to point finger to other non-sense problems i.e. Nest thermostat and then they said they wont repair hvac because the thermostat. But the Nest thermostat they pointed to are non-sense because the thermostat has been working wonderful. I am the homeowner and i knew the Nest thermostat has been working good with no problem. In short, they avoided the work and charged insurance money ILLEGALLY easily by point finger to my thermostat. Just that simple. This company is a totally a SCAM. They will suck your time, energy, and money the moment they come to your door. Please avoid these guys at all cost. WORST!!!! And RUDE and BAD BAD BAD BAD Quality services!!!!!

The reason I dont let Your Company in my house is because i lost trust and afraid you guys gonna damage my thermostat again without fixing anything.

Later, I got a second company, AIRAFZA. They came and I let them inside my house to check on my thermostat and they inspected the thermostat and determined that the thermostat is in great shape.
AIRAFZA went on and fix my HVAC successfully. This proved everything that your company is the WORST campany pretending to be most Trusted in the Area Pathetic!!!!!!! Give me a break!!!!!!

Doughlas and son services is a JOKE company with so call ""expert"". I gave a middle finger due to attitude the tech behave since he charged the insurance company without doing any works. Pathetic!!!!! Please STAY AWAY and save yourself huge TROUBLES from this joke company!!!!!

First let me start with I made a point to provide a positive review because it is rare that people take time to share the 'good' - we are more apt to highlight bad experiences....as have some others we did come by way of Douglas &Son via our home warranty company and this is an occasion where we lucked out!

Every person we dealt with was professional, personable, and overall a dream to deal with given the challenging circumstances with our plumbing issue.

They were prompt and efficient with returning calls, setting appointments, showing up for appointments, keeping us informed with every step of the process and cleaning up after. I cannot say enough good things about them. We highly recommend if you want an honest, hardworking, respectful and responsive team.

(I didn't catch everyone's names we dealt with but Lori, Charlie and his crew are all awesome!)

Had a clogged pipe which was affecting my kitchen sinks and the utility sink in the laundry room. Two other companies had attempted to unclog it to no avail. The plumbers from Douglass and Sons, Darryl and Darnell, came out and handled my problem professionally and efficiently. It took about 90 minutes but they got the job done. Highly recommend this company
