Douglas Orr Plumbing started with Doug operating from the back of a truck alongside one assistant. The company expanded over time, at one point employing more than 250 staff members. The guiding principles of Douglas Orr Plumbing have always been honesty, hard work, and standing behind your work.
Doug retired in 2002, passing the reins to his sons Wayne Orr and Kevin Berounsky, along with son-in-law Chris Behrens. Douglas Orr Plumbing continues to be a cornerstone in the service industry of Miami and South Florida.
Growing up in the plumbing business, Wayne Orr is Doug's son. Following high school, Wayne pursued both college education and a Plumber Apprenticeship program. After earning his degree, Wayne worked as a foreman, managing several significant construction projects in Miami. He later transitioned to the office as an Estimator/Vice President and took over the company in 2002.
Kevin Berounsky, who serves as Vice-President and Owner, has worked in plumbing since 1986. After graduating from Clemson University in 1994, Kevin joined Ferguson Enterprises in Atlanta. He returned to Miami in 1999 to support the family business's operations. Today, Douglas Orr Plumbing is among the largest plumbing companies in the state of Florida.

Gary P.Great experience with Douglas Orr. They were reliable and quick to respond. Nathan came to the apartment and he did a terrific job. He is professional and knows what he's talking about. The only con I have about Douglas Orr is they charge $160 just to come and inspect. I would prefer a lesser rate, and then an incremental charge based on the work that needs to be done. In my case, it turned out that he just needed to adjust my faucet to fix a leak. Either way, I would use them again because it's hard to find a technician who has the right skills to do the job.

These people have stolen form a old lady. Then you call and guy said he can't hear me and I can't understand him.. A BIG REPOFF..

The master plumber doing the repair was extremely knowledgeable and very easy to work with. I highly recommend Douglas Orr plumbing.
Antonio S.I requested service based on text messages from our water heater indicating a problem with the heat pump. The technician who responded to the request was very thorough and patient. This was a somewhat ill-defined problem that was not intuitively obvious. He tried several things to see if we could trigger the error message but to no avail. He hung in there with me and kept working this idea and that to see if we could tease out the problem. Although in the end, we hypothesized that the culprit could have been the power surges that have been fairly frequent coinciding with the rainy weather may have contributed to the error messages I received. All in all, I greatly appreciated the service call and his patience in working to find out if there was truly a problem with the heat pump. Should I need plumbing service down the road, I now know whom to call.
