Needed a toilet reset on it's base. A neighbor recommended this outfit. Doug Turner promptly sent someone out, and he did a very good job. A small job -- took exactly one hour. So why the two star rating? Doug Turner's price! $350 for one hour of work. My attorney doesn't even charge that much! I called and asked the office lady if they could do anything about the price. She agreed..... they took a huge $10 off! So the bill was $340! There are lots of plumbers out there. Next time, we will shop around and find someone who does not gouge on the prices.

I had my pipe from the kitchen sink backup. Alex from Doug Turner came out and looked at it and he gave a reasonable quote. He did not try to sell anything else to me. He unclogged the pipe and gave us good advise on how to avoid this problem again. I highly recommend this company and I will call them again if I ever need a plumber.

Doug Turner plumbing co was hired to repair a leak that was found during a home inspection. They were provided with a photo from the home inspection showing an active water leak. Sam came out and said he didn't see a leak, even though he was shown a photo. Instead of making sure everything was sealed, he did nothing. The leak continued and caused a lot of water damage. Immediately upon discovering the damage, I called to notify them, it was a weekend. I was told they don't do warranty work on the weekends and to wait until Tuesday for them to come out. Fortunately I was able to shut off the water to stop the leak. Since they wouldn't come out, I had to find someone else to fix the leak. Once Sam came out again, I showed him the water damage and he didn't know what to do. He said Doug Turner would handle it. I spoke with Doug Turner, the owner and he refused to help. His plumber was shown the leak and failed to fix it which caused significant water damage. They refused to take responsibility for the water damage caused by their negligence. If there is a problem, they won't fix it, and they will deny responsibility.

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!! I called this company out for a sewage backup into my bathtubs. Unfortunately, I was not home at the time they came out for service so I had a family member meet with them. The plumber flushed out my sewage, but only partially. He also did not ensure my bathtubs could drain before leaving. When I finally came back home 8 days later, I was unable to use my tubs. When I called in to ask a plumber to come back out because the job was incomplete, I was met by a rude woman employee on the other line who not only hung up in my face, but also my uncle's face. They also wanted to charge me another service call for the plumber to come back out to do what should have been done the first time around.
The plumber left notes stating there were roots growing through my pipes and that's what caused the issue, along with feminine products. While I'm speaking on feminine products, I came home to a pile of tampons in my yard! This should have been discarded in the same manner as the sewage!
I called Alan's plumbing after the NO HELP I received from Doug Turner and they were able to come out the same day and resolve my issue for the most part. Turns out there aren't roots growing through my pipes. The issue is that over time my pipes have curved into a sort of U shaped (instead of a straight pipe) causing sewage to get stuck on its way out. The plumber from Doug Turner was unequipped to figure this out.
This is my first AND last time ever using Doug Turner! Alan's Plumbing has made a lifetime customer out of me!

Had an appointment set up between 9-12. Was called at 10 to say they were running late and then called at 2 to let me know they were not coming. Complete waste of time and terrible way to treat customers.

Doug Turner Plumbing has done work for me twice now and on both occasions were serviced by highly competent plumbers.
A little background:
Two-weeks prior I cleaned out the trap on a clogged sink and here it was again not draining. So I decided this plumbing job was best done by a professional.
After calling DTP I had one of my master bath sinks unclogged by Rock Hillman, a Master Plumber. Rock is a great guy and was a genuine pleasure having him in my house.
The job, by the way, was no simple task. After doing the obvious, running the drain auger, the sink was still stopped up. But now the powder room sink also was filling with water and black drain chunks (yuck!).
To compound the problem, the way the plumbing was run by the home builder two sinks shared one line so when Rock tried running the auger it simply ended up going into the other sink's drain. (Cheap builder!)
Ordinarily the plumber would just access a clean-out drain and free the clog. Simple. Except there was no clean-out and to make matters worse, no access to the vent in the attic or upstairs bath room. (Cheap builder!) This is where experience pays off though. Rock estimated exactly where the pipe was located, in the wall (conveniently behind the bathroom mirror) and then opened up a small ten-inch hole to put the drain auger down. Two-minutes later, both drains were draining great. After sealing the drain with a removable patch so the pipe can be accessed in the future and another five-minutes, the mirror was back up and the job was done.
Bottom line is if you want plumbing done right call Doug Turner.

Paid over $600 to find the main drain opening to clean it up.
They didn't send the complete video of what was supposedly bad and quoted $1600 to repair something that they told me was broken.
I then digged myself to uncover nothing was wrong,
I instead put all needed missing piping (missed from the original installation) for just $45 and that was it

This company gives personalized awesome service. From scheduling my home repair needs to work complete, never has been so easy.Expertise people who really care that you are completely satisfied.Highly recommended for any of your plumbing issues.Thank you all at Doug Turner Plumbing!
