They are professional and do decent work. However, their fees are too high. Ask anyone in Smithville.
I had them do a couple of repairs. Afterwards, someone at the office called to check to see if I was satisfied. I said that one of the issues didn't appear to be fixed. They sent someone to follow up and that person spent a few minutes checking it out before determining there was no problem. Then they charged me an additional $60 for that. Their office is literally 5 blocks from my house and I spent a good chunk of change for the work already. Oh, and the problem they double checked persists.

Doug's Plumbing ----- 5 Star Service ------. Damon and Beto of Doug's Plumbing just re-plumbed the house. They did a super job. Marty worked up the Bid in quick order stopping by several times over the course of the 2 day project. The Office Team exceeded expectations in scheduling and keeping me up to speed on arrival of the team. I'm one of those that likes to 'inspect what I expect' and I must say that their work gives the appearance and functionality of new construction in a 100 year old home.

Terrible service owner left me hanging on a repair have been a repeat customer but not anymore think twice about using this company very unprofessional owner. I guess if your the only plumber in town even bad plumbers will get business would not recommend them to anyone.

Doug's Plumbing was recommended to us to do the plumbing for our shower remodel. As long as they were coming out to my house, we decided to have several other plumbing issues addressed. Doug came out to the house. He was very professional and patient as we showed him all we wanted done. He was able to save us money on a faucet rebuild instead of replacement. Doug sent us a written quote very quickly. We changed our minds a couple times and Doug was patient and revised our quote each time. When it was time for the work to be done, Tim and Zach showed up. Again, the professionalism was very evident. Tim was able to fix a plumbing problem that was done wrong years ago! He ensured all the work was done to perfection. Both Tim and Zach were great. I appreciate how hard they both worked to complete all the jobs we requested. When it came time to finish the trim work a week later, Tim was not available and Damon came out. Again, Doug's Plumbing sent out another professional! I highly recommend Doug's Plumbing. I can personally speak highly of all four of the guys that came out to the house and of course the wonderful staff back at the office that handled my calls and got everything scheduled quickly.

I called Doug's to install a new faucet/drain set (which my wife had already purchased) for the bathroom sink and also to repair a leaky kitchen faucet. Jason was the plumber sent to handle this call, and he handled those problems in an entirely professional manner. In particular: for the installation he explained the cost and then, upon our approval, took his time (though it was more than he had anticipated) to make sure that it was done not just properly but also optimally. He then examined the leaky faucet and pointed out that installing an entirely new unit would cost little more than repairing the old one; he recommended that we forgo the repair, get a new faucet set, and call back later to have it installed -- advice for which we were grateful and that we followed. Throughout, Jason was friendly and helpful; he also cleaned up the work area thoroughly upon completion and, while inside the house, even covered his shoes with protective booties to help preserve our floors.
Hence I do not hesitate to recommend Doug's for plumbing service. The only caveat is that, instead of charging "by the hour" for labor, that cost is set *in advance* by their "book". This means the fee may end up being *more* than that with a plumber who simply charges an hourly rate; in that sense, a book-style pricing policy is to the vendor's advantage. At the same time, though, the resulting fixed prices are an advantage for the customer whenever (as happened with our bathroom faucet installation) the project takes *longer* than the book's pricing would predict.

We love Doug's Plumbing! We've owned our home for almost 4 years and had to (unfortunately) call Doug's a few times.
We had a water main break in our front yard before we were heading out of town for my brother's wedding. It was taken care of and we were able to enjoy the wedding weekend.
Our septic tank backed up after we had a large get together at our house. The culprit was likely flushable (which really aren't flushable) wipes, but they were out to our house the day we called and fixed the issue promptly.
About a year ago, we thought there was a gas leak with 1 of our water heaters. We got the inspection done and luckily there was no leak. We opted to have their annual maintenance plan and received a discount on the services. AND with the maintenance plan you get all things plumbing related serviced in your home. It was definitely worth it.
Doug came out today for the annual plumbing checkup and was a great guy. He helped tighten up things that needed to be tightened and drain things that needed to be drained with a smile on his face and some useful tips.

I am so happy that these guys are in town! Doug is genuine, friendly and honest. His team is fantastic and really care about what they do. Tim, kaylee have been great to work with.
Ive had them do several jobs for me now and they not only do terrific work, they price very fairly. I wouldnt use anyone else.
