I had roots growing in sewer pipe. They couldn't get machine in backyard to dig so they had to dig by hand. They showed up when scheduled and worked hard and fast to dig about 5 feet down. I was surprised how quickly they got it done. They had to remove part of my retaining wall. They finished the job very quickly and rebuilt the retaining wall and cleaned up the area. They hauled off brick and rock that builders had buried. I think they went above what they had to do to be sure I was happy and my yard was back close to the way they found it.

I requested an estimate to repair a non-urgent leaking sink through Yelp. I received a very quick response and scheduling availability within the next two days. The Dooty Calls staff were upfront about the cost and kept me up to date on ETA. Dave was on time, kind, very professional (wore booties inside), and wore a mask for COVID safety precautions.
As Dave evaluated the issue, he kept me up to date with his initial diagnosis, how he planned to fix it, and showed me the final result. He was very informative and knowledgeable in his work.
Hope to not have any more plumbing issues, but if I do, I'll be calling Dave!

We have a broken fridge and Home Depot came out to replace the fridge. They couldn't find the shutoff valve for the water hookup for the fridge and said they couldn't swap out the old fridge. They said I needed a plumber to come out to install a water shutoff valve. I called Dave on a Monday afternoon after having called 4 other plumbers who said they were booked out for at least a week. Dave said he could stop by on Tuesday afternoon. He called me Tuesday and said he could pop by even earlier. I said great! When he arrived, I showed him the fridge and he immediately popped under the sink. Within seconds he found the water shutoff valve. I felt super silly to have had him come all this way. I said I could venmo him for whatever the rate was to come all this way for an in-home visit. Dave immediately declined and stayed to offer other helpful advice on other plumbing issues for an old craftsman home. He was professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. We will definitely be calling Dooty Calls for our future plumbing needs--and who doesn't love a good pun?? Thank you so much, Dave!

Dave was fantastic! They are a small local business, but right from dispatch to communication to updating us on his arrival and doing the job explaining what he was about to do, all amazing and helpful. I had a kitchen sink drain clog and I already had tried the usual tricks + cleaning out the p-trap etc. on my own. I knew this needed snaking and Dave agreed quickly and got his power tools. In no time he managed to break through and tested the water flow a few times. He was also very good with covid protocols, wore booties and cleaned up after the job was done. I also thought the price was reasonable for this job, and saved me 100's of dollars from what Roto Rooter was going to charge me ($500, can you believe it for 15 mins of snaking?). I recommend going with these small business for sure and would call Dave again for any plumbing issues. Dave also recommended using some regular green cleaning pellets to not have this problem again.

Worked with Dooty calls today for a tub valve installation and drain hook up. David did a very professional job and I would highly recommend his services (I'll also be using them for any future work I do!). From a business perspective, David shows great workmanship and does quick and diligent work. From a homeowners perspective, I could have left David alone to do his work with full trust he would do a good job. However, more than just being able to provide great service, he is also able to provide great knowledge. I spent time shadowing David while he worked today, because as a new home owner I'm genuinely curious about the inner workings of my house, and I learned a lot from him today. He explained the tools he was using, the differences between all the different plumbing systems, tips and tricks for proper installation, and how to service my equipment in the future. I even accompanied him in the crawlspace when working on attaching the new drain, and he was able to explain to me my existing drain and pipe work and how it will hold up.

From the DIY homeowner who is trying to learn to the homeowner/business who just wants to work done quickly and professionally, David and Dooty calls is the company to call.

I have never felt strongly enough about a service professional to write a review, but Dave was so awesome that I felt he deserved a Yelp review. He came out same day to fix our issue, was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, transparent and generally very helpful. We had a lot of questions and he answered them all thoroughly. Would definitely recommend him for plumbing work.

Dave is hands down the best person I've ever worked with for anything plumbing related. In December we had an outrageous water bill, he came out the next morning free of charge to investigate and within 48 hours had completely fixed our issue. Not only that but other plumbers were saying we needed to rip up our yard and put in a whole new system, and Dave figured out that the issue was not with our pipe but the pressure. He saved us a ton of money and fixed our problem!

Do yourself a favor and give them a call before you choose any other plumber, you won't regret it!

Dave came out and replaced a sink for us and it was a great experience. He was incredibly helpful and very informative and knowledgeable. He explained every question we asked in depth, and was up front and honest about costs and how we could save money going forward.

This review is for communication with Dooty Calls: They were super upfront, very honest, and didn't string us along with over promising. They could have come out, charged us for a line inspection, and then told us they couldn't do it but they chose to save us money by letting us know that the job we had sounded a little out of scope at this time. Saved us time and money by being upfront, honest, and nice - we've been fleeced by plumbers before (you know, the ""we'll come out and give an estimate for xx dollars, and by the time we tell you what the problem is, you're $200 in so might as well pay the additional xx dollars for us to finish the job even though the bid seems abysmally high""), so we will call them again when we need.
