Don's Plumbing is awesome!! Not only do they respond & schedule quickly, they are super nice.

Recently a slow drip under my kitchen sink became an emergency. Near bedtime on the weekend, I heard a rushing noise under the sink. Lots of towels, along with a large bowl to catch any water that might drip, made me feel relatively safe. But by morning the rushing noise could be heard coming down the steps. The towels were soaked & there was water on the floor. The slow drip was now a near flood. The immediate solution was turning off the water valves to the sink and dishwasher & cleaning up the mess.

On Monday morning, hearing the drip had progressed, Don said he would send someone right over. And he did! Kendall was pleasant & knowledgeable. The problem was twofold: the mid 80s era Quest shut off valves & the faucet itself. He had the valves in the truck but went out of his way to go out & purchase a faucet & sprayer that would fit the holes in my sink. Thanks Kendall! All was well.

Believe it or not, the next day the Quest valve to my vanity toilet failed. I knew it was the shut off valve because it turned so easily. Don & Kendall both came the next day & verified my diagnosis. After they replaced the valve, Don put the stamp of approval on a new toilet that I wanted for the vanity. It's being delivered Sunday. Don & Kendall are coming Monday to install it.

Had a pipe break and after calling numerous plumbers who didn't bother to call me back I googled and found Don's Plumbing. He came, found the leak (it was in a wall), fixed the broken valve connection and his fee was so very reasonable I had him come back to install a new garbage disposal & fix a running toilet. Highly recommend this company. Top notch !

They were delayed getting here because of another job but they called when they were in route. The young man came in and was out in the time frame promised. The price was great and he cleaned up after himself. I hope to call tham back for some other items that need attention.

I highly recommend Don's Plumbing, even though we have not actually used the company's services, technically. Let me explain. I called Don's Plumbing for help with what I thought was a leaky master shower. I could see stains on the ceiling of the kitchen and right above that is my master bathroom. Don and his nephew, Kendo, came by and examined the situation and told me it wasn't actually a plumbing problem, that it was a problem with some broken tiles that caused water to gather and end up creating the stain in question. No charge for that. They were kind, courteous and extremely helpful. I appreciate their honesty. They weren't looking to take advantage of someone who has zero knowledge of plumbing. When I do have an actual plumbing problem, I will be calling Don's Plumbing for sure.

Unfortunately I had the experience of needing plumbing work done due to my water heater leaking out water all over the floor. We called Dons plumbing on a Thursday night, scheduled appointment for Monday morning. I had a gut feeling I would need a new water heater as mine was quite old but held on for a long time. They told me my water heater made it 28 years which is quite impressive as now they have a life expectancy of 10 years on average. On the day of the appointment they arrived on time and quickly diagnosed. They picked up my new water heater, installed & answered my questions regarding the merchandise. They were courteous, professional & honest and I would recommend & use them again in the future if needed.

If only I could give them 10 stars!!! Don and crew were timely, polite, professional, and very nice to my dog! The clogged main line was fixed in about a half hour, at a price that was about 1/3 what I expected after having dealt with Roto Router last time. Don is my new ""go to"" plumber! First time I ever hired someone based solely on Yelp reviews and it worked out better than I even could have hoped!

Don's plumbing is by far the best team of plumbers I've dealt with while living in Va beach. Don and his team were prompt in returning my call compared to several other companies I called concerning my issue of leaky shower on the second floor. This was causing secondary damage to my first floor kitchen. They came in evaluated the issue; then returned the next day and fixed my leaking shower pipes completely. Great job!
