I had called them two weeks ago to fix a faucet in my boss's house. They came out and the next day sent me an email saying to schedule the follow up appointment. I called and was told someone would call me back for 5 days now. They finally stated that the parts they ordered were not in yet and they would call to see where they are and call me back. Never heard from them. I did get a text from them yesterday at 5pm saying someone would be out today. I called at 1:30 in the afternoon because i still had not heard from anyone, they said oh we sent you a text this morning. No they did not, and she proceeded to say it was now scheduled for tomorrow......Whoever they have answering the phones and scheduling is a joke! I hope that they do not fix things the way they schedule and respond to customers , i will follow up once the work is actually scheduled and done.
This company called me because I put a request for an estimate on a heating unit through Home Advisor. I began to tell the guy what I was looking for and he kept cutting me off was condescending. When they asked me what time I would like and appointment, I mentioned that I work until 3 and if we could do 4:00. He proceeded to yell at me saying that he would have to pay his guys time and a half. He was extremely rude the entire time. I don't know how his work is but I will tell you that I won't give any company any business that treats their customers so poorly.
I had an appointment scheduled for Donnelly to come out and assess my air conditioner. I set this appointment 3 weeks in advance, I assume due to them being busy. They called me the day of the appointment, 30 minutes before they were supposed to be here cancelling the appointment. Giving no valid explanation, and offering little to no remorse. They simply offered to schedule my appointment, another two weeks out. Just horrible customer service.
2nd time in 2 year that after they do the maintenance on one of our AC unit, the unit is not functioning and require replacement. They are either incompetent or they are taking advantage of their customers.
Cooper J.Price gougers, I only required bathtub faucet replacement but they quoted $1400 replacement of whole shower/tub. After $60 visit fee I felt violated. This business has gone down hill in a major way, stay away.
Unfortunately, this was a horrible experience. We scheduled the appointment and made arrangements for someone to be available during the 6 hour window. The day before, they switched the time from the morning to the afternoon. We accommodated this change. We made sure to clear out a place in front of our home for the driver. The driver came and called their office because he felt he did not have enough room to park his truck, which was two car lengths. The administrative assistant at Donnelly called my wife, who was at work. She told the administrative assistant to have the driver call me, because I was at home, waving to him and he acknowledged me. The administrative assistant would not direct the driver to do this and, instead, said they wanted to reschedule. I was on speaker with my wife and she repeatedly said not only is there space in front of the house, but there is a HUGE parking lot right across the street that was completely clear for parking. The administrative assistant would not pass this information on and said she wanted to reschedule the appointment. I let an expletive loose out of frustration while on speaker phone and the administrative assistant hung up. I would have hung up too.
So after accommodating the change of time and offering multiple parking options, the driver drove away, never speaking to me as I stood at the front door waving to him. We scheduled with Good Heating and Plumbing because of the poor customer service.
Recently I moved into our new home and had to replace the HVAC system. I contacted Donnelly's® https://www.4donnellys.com
and spoke to a rep letting him know I wanted a complete 16 Seer system to achieve PECO and AHRI rebate standards.
Donnelly's came out and installed a new $6700 system. I went to apply for the rebates, and I was told the system didn't meet the standards. After a couple of weeks, I was finally able to get an answer from Donnelly's that my outdoor system was 16 Seer but not the furnace.
So basically, I spent money on a system that I didn't ask for. I feel duped that a local company would be dishonest about a system they sold. It makes me wonder how many folks look in-depth at their system to know it takes an outdoor unit, coil, and furnace to have a proper 16 Seer system and get the rebate.
I would not recommend Donnellys again, and please use my experience as a lesson.

I had a technician give me a price to repair a drain clamp to fix our leak and this company wanted to charge me $497. He also told me I need a new faucet and he would install it for $300. Was a load of lies. The faucet was fine!!! I had a neighbor refer an excellent plumber and he charged me $100 for the job and did a great job. This company is high way robbery!!! Be aware!!!!!
David K.The technician came out for a routine inspection of my 7 year old Carrier heat pump. I was offered information on an annual service plan with no pushy sales technique. I was told my capacitor is running below manufacturer's specification; replacement was recommended at a cost of $395. I declined and subsequently bought the Carrier brand replacement capacitor on the internet for $20. YouTube has a video on how to replace in under 10 minutes. I appreciate that businesses have overhead and must charge to cover expenses; however, in this case I was nearly ripped off. I paid $211 for the service visit, 28 point inspection and cleaning.
