I wanted to say a big thanks you to Danny and Juan for ac repair this last week. They had an old house with a bunch of issues and they fixed the impossible. Both Danny and Juan did a great job and were very friendly. They both broke down the issues so they were easy to understand. I really want to thank them for that. It's hard finding a trustworthy maintenance / ac repair company, if I have any issues I'm definitely going to use these guys again.

Thanks Danny and Juan!

We had Ryan from Donley come to our house for an AC check-up this week. He was extremely professional and knowledgeable. He gave us a lot of very helpful information about our 12 year old AC, answered all of our questions, and offered suggestions to add to the life and efficiency of the unit. We know that the unit will have to be replaced in the near future and we will definitely be using this company. It was refreshing to have a service person at the house who was well educated. The charge was only $89 and that included the service tech using a 32 foot extension ladder to access our roof.

Our heater was not working properly and we called a company in town that we had used before. They came out and said the gas valve was broken and it would be an $800 repair. We have recently worked with Donley for our business and so called them for our home. Rueben came out and was great with customer service. He found that the gas valve was shut off and that was the issue. The other company was trying to make money and Donley just fixed the issue and we paid the service charge. Couldn't be happier that Donley has integrity and the customer experience to go with it. Great job Donley on gaining a new customer.

We have been with this company for over 25 years. After a recent remodel, our A/C unit wasn't pushing enough air to one side of our home. I called on Donley to solve the issue. They modified the work that was done under our original remodeling contractor. When that did not achieve an improvement, they returned and amended their work, and SOLVED the problem. This is just one example from many that causes me to recommend Donley to anyone here in the valley. Thanks to Julian, Kevin, Gary and Jackie for getting it done!

It sucks when the company that installed your current AC units, still under warranty, don't know how to fix them. Yes...this is the very issue we're having right now, and we've gone two days...no air...in the heat of summer. Watch out for these guys.

The technician was a nice guy, but I don't trust the company he works for!

My experience with Donley Service Center treated me with professionalism and incredible care.

I had other bids from well known AC companies and they were trying to sell me $20,000 units that was way over the top and tried to take advantage of my situation.

I would like to thank Mike Carroll and Mike Donley for their personal attention. They were honest and treated me with respect, they did not try to oversell me and respected my budget. In addition, they provided me with a motor, at no additional charge (since mine was out) to get me through the few days before they were able to install my new AC unit.

Due to Mike Carroll and Carl, his supervisor, and Mike Donley's commitment to servicing their customers, they truly went above and beyond to take care of me.

My unit was installed yesterday and I commend the professionalism and hard work of Pedro, Julian and Jose. They were kind, courteous and hard working men. They were respectful of any debris created from the installation and they cleaned up meticulously, you would never know they were there for the day after they left.

All of the employees that serviced my home, Mike Carroll, Julian, Pedro, Jose, Chris and Kevin were on time and respectful. I will definitely refer my friends.

Like Forrest Gump's box of chocolates, when you need an air conditioner repairman you never know what you're going to get. More often than not one goes with the flashy newspaper ads or brightly colored trucks, all paid for with their big profit margin, or maybe from mailings offering a ""free"" inspection (just to get them in the door). These often are the guys who will praise you for your decision to call them because if you had waited you would have suffered a fire or flood or the plague or locusts or worse. They use words like: what you have is too old, parts are too hard to get, or the compressor was the wrong size for the house to begin with. And will likely add: oh by the way, you need to replace the unit in the attic and all the ducting too because it is leaking and cooling the whole attic and is about to fail/ won't accommodate the new compressor/is a fire hazard or whatever. I haven't been up in my attic for years and am too smart to mess with the compressor so I must rely on what the tech tells me. That's scary.

Years ago I saw a ""60 minutes"" spot on this subject. I was living in California at the time but this happened to take place in Phoenix. As I recall, legitimate technicians selected a couple of homes with adequately functioning systems, then did something minor to make them fail. Several local companies were called and each recommended at least major repairs or replacement of the unit, estimates in some cases in the tens of thousands of dollars. The technician in one company looked the system over, replaced the fuse or tightened up a hose or whatever and didn't charge a cent. Said he was in the area anyway. Pretty amazing I thought. That tech was from Donley Service Center.

So last summer when I noticed my fifteen year old system was working pretty hard cooling off my great room I called Donley. A technician by the name of Chris Hill came out, went through a thorough diagnostic procedure, added refrigerant and cleaned up both compressors, and for less than $350 that was it. His comment: ""Operating normally for age and condition."" And by the end of the summer we had saved way more than the cost of the service.

A bathroom hot water leak in two places under the slab necessitated another call to Donley last month. Josh Crabtree, ably assisted by Brian and especially Pat, leak detective extraordinaire from Artisan Leak Detection. Pat did a masterful job finding the leaks and orchestrating the complex task of isolating the lines which were leaking and rerouting one and creating a second line directly from the water heater. Josh and Brian took care of the actual work, and did so to my complete satisfaction, finishing it all in one day.

Donley Service Center merits my strongest possible recommendation.

My air conditioner went on the blink Sunday morning. I had seen the Donley truck at me neighbors, so I called for the phone number.
The Service Center person that took my call was friendly & knowledgeable. The serviceman arrived within a couple of hours and knew exactly what the problem was. He was in and out within 30 minutes.
Fantastic Service, in a day when most companies pay lip service to Customer Service. Thank you Donley!

Called Donley for a second opinion when another company was telling us that we needed to replace our malfunctioning A/C unit for around $7000. Donley's technician, Juan, found and fixed the problem within an hour for under $200. He said that there was no need to replace the unit, just maintain it properly.

We are never calling anyone else but Donley! Honest and friendly service to only repair what needs fixing. Thank you!!

I can't remember how we came upon this company, but dealing with this company last year was very pleasant. After calling several A/C companies, we settled on having this company put in the new A/C unit with a good warranty on it. We had a Carrier unit put on and it was in the middle of the range in terms of price - not the cheapest nor the least expensive.

I think after everything was said and done, it was close to $7K for a new ground unit to adequately cool an almost 1800 sq ft home in central AZ.

They did not try to high pressure sell us or anything. Once we decided and set up the appointment, they came at the time they said they would and installed the outside unit as well as replaced the heater coil or whatever it's called up in the attic.

We were up and running in no time and the electric bills have been lower with a new more efficient unit. It keeps the house cool and works great. We typically don't run the unit in the winter - the heater, so at least part of the year it gets rest.

Would use this company again. Very professional.
