David returned my 7:30am text within just two minutes and then after his already scheduled morning appointment, showed up and completely replaced my gas water heater. David and Willie completely finished the job within two hours... heck of a service!

2 stars for super quick scheduling and prompt arrival. These guys quoted me 2 to 2.5 times what any of the others quoted. I requested on-site quotes from about 8 companies on yelp. They even wanted me to sign waivers because I wanted to re use a garbage disposal that was unplugged and kept for counter tip install and said it could lead to flooding. I get that , but then why would you quote 2x when your work is not guaranteed. Their quote for installing a faucet, connecting back gargabe disposal and replacing a vanity sink was 1300$ with a waiver. Laughable.

I called Done Rite off of a recommendation from another plumber (who did not offer a camera service) to have a camera put down my sewer pipe since it was clogged. This is the first time this drain has ever been clogged. They sent a workman out to who found the clog using the camera and suggested to snake it. He did so once and it was still clogged and then told me I could scale it (which used a larger and more powerful snake). He also told me that my sewer line ran down the side of my house and under my driveway to the opposite side and then to the street where it met up with the city line. When he snaked it this time it rattled so much and make an extremely loud throughout my house which i thought was strange. When he finished snaking it, he checked with the camera again and said i had a bigger problem, that the sewer line was broken at the clog. He then told me that they would have to dig up a portion of my asphalted driveway to fix the pipe and then re-asphalt the driveway. He gave me an estimate of around $8k. This all from a clogged drain. I proceeded to call a few more sewer repair companies and found out that the pipes actually run under my house not outside and across the driveway. Thank goodness I got another estimate and didn't tear up my driveway for no reason. I called and asked to speak to a manager/owner and then David called me back. He wanted to come out and see for himself. He did so and apologized for the misrepresentation of the work and refunded me that money that I had paid for the snaking. I'm glad he did hat but he would not take any responsibility for the pipe separating during snaking. When he went down in my crawlspace and looked at the pipes (and showed me pictures) he said that the pipes had not been properly attached with the primer and/or glue (although I never had a problem with the piping separating before this) and would not take any financial responsibility for fixing the pipe. I ended up paying a company to do restoration clean up in the crawl space (due to sewer spillage from the pipes separating) and a different one to fix the pipes (they did a great job) many thousands of dollars later.

My laundry room and kitchen sink backed up and flooded. I called a plumber who tried to snake the pipes, but the pipes flooded again two weeks later. He came back but then gave me David's phone number to put a camera in the pipes, since the problem was bigger than he could handle. David (Done Rite) came the same day, went into my basement and actually looked at the pipes and said a camera and/or scaling was not necessary, which would have been very expensive. He said the pipes in the house were not up to current code and needed to be reinstalled to prevent future backups, and to ensure proper flow and drainage. He gave me a fair estimate, brought two workmen with him, and completed the job in several hours--two days after I initially called Done Rite. He explained everything, showed me photos, and I feel comfortable that the backup will not happen again. I was very impressed and will use this company in the future. I also learned they are going to handling electrical problems in the future, as well as plumbing and gas.

David came to our home to discuss installation of a water filtration system for our kitchen. Instead of simply selling me what I asked about, he interviewed me about the load the system would handle and about skin/hair health and water use in general. We purchased a home water filtration system instead so that our laundry, cooking, and bathing have the benefit of high-quality water. This is important because we drink a lot of tea and coffee through our instant hot water system, and lots of plain water, so clean water and ice was important. We also cook 98% of the meals we cook so again, healthy water is key. Lastly, my husband and 85 year-old mother had skin sensitivities before the home water filtration system installation, but no longer. And, I felt like the price--installation labor and materials--was fair. We've loved the system the two years we've had it. David recommended we set a calendar reminder for filter changing. The company is coming out soon to do that for us. Looking forward to having them and appreciate the enhanced quality of living David has provided with his expertise.
