I called Dave with an emergency leak and at first he said he wouldn't be able to get out and suggested another plumber. But he called back a few minutes later and told me where to shut off the main and came out a few hours later.
His price was fair.
Later we hired Dave to install a water filter system. The work was completed quickly and so far no problems.

I called Dave in a pinch- my girlfriend found a leak at night when I was away and couldn't assess it. He was able to respond quickly and temporarily fix the problem until a more convenient time (for both of us) for a permanent fix.
He was able to identify the problem correctly and fix it correctly. I was happy with his work and his repairs have a two year warranty, which I liked.
Dave is a hard working, stand up guy. He shows up on time, and stands behind his work, and his prices were reasonable- Dave represents the hardiness and ethics in work that America needs and values. I will be using Dave for my future plumbing needs.

I found Dave on yelp. Dave came out to fix a yard drainage problem, and did a great job helping me to isolate the problem. He went as far as he could (I need to get the irrigation plan from the landscaper). He also replaced my clogged dishwasher connection to garbage disposer and put a new pressure valve on the dishwasher hot water line (was old and corroded). I noticed that evening that the valve was defective and had a slow drip, so he cheerfully came out early the next morning to replace it. I must add that Dave doesn't normally come as far south as San Clemente, but I told him I had a number of plumbing items we could address while he was here and we agreed to a two hour minimum (my work took longer). I am very happy to have Dave as a plumber that I can trust and knows what he is doing. He will be my plumber from now on.

As I arrived home earlier this week to find that we had a leak in our bathrooms. I immediately called my boyfriend who was at work to let him know and to have him call a plumber. He looked on Yelp and decided to call Dave with Done Rite Plumbing who had nothing but excellent reviews. Dave had just returned from an out of state vacation a couple hours prior to receiving the call and was so eager to get in his truck and head over to our place within 20 minutes of receiving the call. That night he was able to locate the problem was and was able to fix the issue temporarily until he could get back out a couple days later to complete the job. He was very honest with all the costs and was very good communicating with us. There was no hidden fees and he fixed a couple extra things at no extra charge to us. He cleaned up everything very well and was very respectful of our home. I cannot say how thankful I am that we found such a wonderful, hard working person to do business with. We've definitely found our plumber, thanks Dave!

Done-Rite is the perfect name for this business as I observed that Dave's main agenda is to do everything right for the customer!
I called Dave at the end of the day, when he was heading home after a long day. He gave me a quote over the phone that was very reasonable and arrived within 20 minutes.
It was a simple kitchen drain clog, that turned out needing 2-3 steps past the usual un-clogging. Throughout the whole job, Dave was polite, friendly, cheerful, attentive to cleanliness (removed his boots each time he came into the house),explained what he was doing, and was not willing to stop working until the job was ""done right"" at the original price quoted. Another plumber could have asked for more money for the extra steps, but, like I said, Dave's agenda was to be an honest worker who gets the job done right, at the expense of his time.
Dave warrantied his work and gave me useful tips for keeping my drain flowing so I wouldn't need to call him back.
I would highly recommend Done-Rite Plumbing! Not only will you get a job Done-Rite, you'll say good-bye to Dave with real sense of encouragement that the honest, American work ethic is alive and well! After Dave left, my husband said, ""We found our new plumber!""

Very pleased with the work Dave performed for us. We had several big companies come out and basically tried to pressure us to do extra work that wasn't necessary. We got Dave's number from a friend and we were happy we made the call!

He gave us a competitive quote, which was important, of course. But what struck us most was his helpfulness and sincerity. He was able to come on one day's notice, came in under quote, and was just great to work with. A plus, our dog loved him (maybe a little too much, sorry Dave). That, coupled with his 24/7 availability and the fact that he owns the business, gave us the piece of mind we wanted for a key house-need contact. Looks like we've found a go-to plumber we can actually trust. We'd highly recommend him.
