This company is a scam do use them at all. My A/C has been broke since 9/7/16. There are contracted through First American Home Buyers Warranty Corporation. I have talked to the manager and technician at least once or twice a week. They will make appointments and will show up.They have no regards of the consumer personal time. I will file a compliant with the federal trade commission and also with the BBB. They will take your co-pay when they are doing work for First American Home Buyers (in my case) and they will not return to fix any problems that your may occur after your initial visit. Once again, there consumer service is horrible. Please did not use this company.

Ricky Davis is the absolute worst ever. I have been without cooling since June 2015. He claimed to fix it and I kept calling until it got cold outside and figured I would deal with it in the Spring. I filed another claim 3/25/16 and they sent Holy Spirit Heating and Cooling. He reported back to them that Ricky improperly installed the heat pump and it turned off my circuit breaker when the compressor finally died on that new heat pump he installed. The old one was leaking but he reported that I needed a new one... anyway Holy Spirit refused to do the work behind him and since the heat pump was less than 1 year old that Ricky had to come back to fix it.. needless to say he didnt show when he finally did he said it just went bad for no reason and disputed what Alonzo at Holy Spirit said and he came back and replaced it with something that is a mix match so I still have no cooling and he contaminated my inside air handler because he mix matched and he never flushed anything. He never came inside..after he installed I ran upstairs to turn it on to see if it cooled but he didnt wait, he left i called him immed to tell him its not cooling why did you leave with out checking and he didnt answer nor return my call. He reported to First American that it was resolved. I called and they did a recall with a different contractor that told me that the systems were mix matched and he spoke to the manufacturer and they will never cool and it didnt. The air handler was now contaminated and he checked the piston and could tell it was not flushed...First American did a recall and Ricky then showed up after a no show and was at my home for 10 min was outside came in with a temperature thing and went over my vents saying they are at 61 degrees, now before i turned it on my thermostat read it was 71 in the house when i turned it on and he left it was at 72 i said its not cooling its set at 55 degrees and Ricky said it will never get to 55 degrees I said but it is not supposed to get warmer in here if its set to cool... he said well im reporting to the warranty company that its cooling and he left... 10 min is all. I took pictures of the thermostat every 30 min as the temperature rose when its set to cool. When he was at my home I told him he was a liar and he should be ashamed but he denied everything and could care less.. I am telling u First American should be ashamed and I dont understand how they continue to do business with him. I called them and they said he did send in a report that it was cooling and since there is a discrepancy that they would send yet a 3rd person. It will be 30 days since I filed this claim and its still not resolved and they dont seem to care. I do not believe Ricky has a license to install in the state of Maryland I have called the licensing board and I will file a complaint as soon as they can not locate his license. I have submitted a BBB complaint on First American Home Warranty yesterday. They are failing to resolve my claim and had a contractor do more damage to a indoor air handler that was working before he came. He has no clue as to what he is doing so he can not possibly have a HVAC license to install anything. You better run if they send him and never let him touch it, he brings Charles with him but he is not allowed to talk to anybody and I sure hope he is not an apprentice because he is going to be the worst as well.

2 months ago we replaced our entire HVAC system. We had a date schedule for install and 3 hours after Done Right was to be at my house, the owner finally returned my message asking where he was and said he wasn't coming. There would be 2 more no shows before they actually showed up. I should have known then to go with another company! Our first electric bill with the new system arrived 3 weeks ago and was $1700!! I called the electric company and they sent someone out for an aidit. During this audit we realized that neither unit was cutting on (dual zoned) the downstairs was immediately going into emergency heat. The thermostat was not alerting us to this, because it hadn't been programed to, which would have alerted us to a problem and prevented the outrageous electric bill. We also learned that the upstairs unit wasn't turning on at all. We had no heat upstairs, where the bedrooms are.
I called Rick Davis, the owner and left him a message. After an hour and not hearing back, I sent him a facebook message. He said he would be out that evening at 6:00. At 7:30 he responded to a message and said he wasn't coming. He said he'd be out the next afternoon. Again, he didn't show but said he'd be out at 8:00 the next morning. At 8:30 I called then messaged him and he said it was raining when he left his house that morning so he wasn't coming. My outside units are covered. He said he would be out after 3:00. You guessed it. He didn't show! He did tell me to ""calm down"" when I was upset at his lack of professionalism and the fact that I only had heat in my basement as only emergency heat.
He finally showed on Sunday and said that we must have had some kind of ""surge"" because a compressor was bad on one unit and a circuit board on the other. I now had NO HEAT in my house. He said he would order the parts the next day and g ace them in Tuesday. I'll spare you the play by play but it's now 8 days later and I've had daily if not twice daily promises to show and he has not. I gage 4 children and it got into the 20's last week. Finally today as I'm at my wits end and threatened to call another company and send him the bill he says ""I'll be there at 9:00 tomorrow just to get you off my back"" He also said he'd only show up if my husband was there. Bottom line is these people will take your $ and then not answer your calls and not show up! And have the nerve to be nasty. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! There is a reason every review on every site says the same thing. It's all true!!

This company is the absolute worst! My A/C unit ended up having an issue with all of this heat these past few days. I called First American Home Buyer and they sent out this company. I asked for Jerry's Plumbing & Heating but they said they did not work with them anymore (will get to that later). So I had the AC issue Friday, Saturday they showed up at my house and the issue that the the tech (Paul) that was the problem wasn't the issue. My HVAC was leaking water so it thought it was coming from the condenser pipe.

Mine is routed in a interesting manner due to my house but it works. He shorten the pipe, took the $75 dollars and rolled out. He told me that if I had any issues to call back. Well 2 hrs later the issue came back and when I called they said they would come out on Sunday. I had an important event to attend but they due to their lack of communication I never heard anything.

I called them back on Monday during the day time and Ricky picked up and said that he would come to my house that evening to fix the issue from 2-4. Once again I didn't hear a damn thing from them and at this point I am fed up. I had my wife leave work to come home for this. So after that I called Jerry's and they told me they still work with FAHB and I had to reroute the ticket. I was able to to do that and they were able to take me the next day and the Lady HVAC tech took care of me and got my AC working again. She did a very worthy job.

All in all, DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH DONE RIGHT PLUMBING HEATING & AIR!!!!! I will be call FAHB and telling them about this issue. Oh and done right new number is 301-659-4283

AVOID THIS COMPANY! Terrible customer service. They will miss scheduled appointments and will never call to say they're running late or they can't make it. Oh, and don't try to call them because the one guy who may answer will lie to you and eventually turn his phone off to ignore youl. This has happened to me twice with this company. I realized it the second time that I said I would never this company use again. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. If you want to keep your sanity (and work leave hours), AVOID THIS BAD COMPANY!

Up until the last month or so, I only had good things to say about Done Right. I needed a hot water heater and a new HVAC system. The price quoted was very fair, in my opinion, compared to my neighbors who paid more and only received a new HVAC. The appt times (between 10am and 2pm) are AWFUL for working people. My HVAC system is now blowing warm air and they never opened a place in the duct work so that I could
change the filter.

I had an appt about a month ago, but because I was dealing with a flat tire, I couldn't take it. If I had known that it would be THIS hard to get them to come back out, I would NEVER have canceled that appt. The next 2 appts, no one called and no one showed
even though I was assured by Jean that someone would be there. This past Monday, Rick called to see if I would be home. This was only after I had placed ANOTHER service request with First American. I called him back because I was at work and I have yet to hear from him. If I don't have something done by Monday, I will have to get someone in that can handle this. I don't think that they have enough technicians and that's a problem.

**UPDATE** As of July 18th, I have heard nothing back from Done Right. My a/c unit is now leaking and I have an emergency call into another company. My home warranty company, First American, is giving me the run around on getting someone else. I'm also in the process of filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I will keep this updated.

**UPDATE** As of November 17th, all is well but it wasn't without struggle. I had another company come out in July and do all that Done Right promised to do but didn't. This past week, my HVAC system was blowing COOL air instead of warm air. Apparently, a valve was in the wrong position. First American Home Warranty only seems to deal with Done Right for all of this type of work. Rick came and didn't charge me the fee because it was a simple fix. I also received a refund from First American because I complained about the service received from Done Right in the summer.

The Customer Service is terrible! Over this past weekend, my basement filled with water and my home warranty, First American Home Warranty asigned the job to Done Right Plumbing Heating Air. The contractor was scheduled to service my home on Saturday but failed to show up and First American rescheduled for today with the same company and once again, the contractor failed to show up. Considering the rain levels in this area over the last few days, and understanding this is the weekend, Done Right Plumbing Heating Air was the only available contractor. The technician Rick, never answered his cell phone when I attempted to reach him and the warranty company made several attempts to reach him before he answered, and assured the representative that he would come out today!

I have since complained to First American Home Warranty and my next call will be to the Done Right Plumbing Heating Air senior official. Best advertisement is by way of mouth!

For those individuals requiring immediate assistance, please consider an alternate company before settling for this business.

I agree with Vicky T. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COST.
I called RICKY (THE OWNER ) and he agreed to come around to 2-5 pm. he did not show up. I called him again and he said he will arrive around 6 pm and did not show up. Called him up again, he said he is on his way to our house . waited aroud 9 pm and he did not show up (desperate coz I have 4 year old girl and 16 mo. old boy) or returned my calls.
NExt day , He called my wife ( told my wife that his name is James , with the same cell number) and set up for another appointment next 3 days and surely enough did not show up again.
To avoid headache, High blood pressure, lost wages for not working full day to accomodate his schedule, or be tempted to challenge the Guy to a fist fight or any kind of Fight he wants .. Avoid this Guy.

Totally concur. I'm convinced the Home Warrenty companies and repair companies are worthless. Done Right Colonal Beach Va cost me five work days waiting for them to show up. Always an excuse. I went without heat for 30 days and had no recourse. Called my warranty company five times and still got the run around. This is solid proof customer service and our education system are a thing of the past.
