**UPDATE: A supervisor called me to discuss this issue. He assured me that he will not stand for any of his workers to inflate costs and for what it is worth, he refunded the money I spent on the sewer cabling. When I asked him why I wasn't given other, less expensive options like jetting the sewer before jumping straight to taking out my entire alleyway he said he would need to review the details of the quote and the actions that the plumber took to diagnose this issue.

It is a sad state of affairs that these large companies exist and it should be against the laws of consumerism that they operate in the manner that they do. They prey upon people who have little to no knowledge of the ins and outs of plumbing and then are compensated on commission to swindle unknowing individuals out of thousands of dollars unnecessarily. It is truly criminal.
They advertise $99 sewer cabling and then once they get in the door they size you up and take advantage of you in every way possible. That is what I felt they did to me.

I used this company to snake my main sewer line recently for $99 when it backed up into my house and I couldn't use running water. The first time they did so it worked, however, my sewer line backed up again only one week later. The next time they sent someone out to cable the line, he told me that he couldn't pop the line open and teed me up for his colleague to come out and put a camera down the sewer line the following morning. He told me that I ""should expect the worst"" because he had a feeling that it was ""a really bad problem."" The next morning, his colleague came out to camera the line and said he couldn't get his camera past a certain point. He told me that the only way to fix the issue was to take out my entire alley, asphalt and all, and get a crew out immediately to replace a quarter of the sewer line in order that I would have use of running water as soon as possible. The cost for this he told me would be $12,000. He told me that if I delayed it would cost me another $1,000 to mobilize a crew the following day. He played upon my urgency to have the issue resolved ASAP. The $12,000 was the cost to replace about 1/4th of my sewer line, maybe even less of my sewer than that. In reality, replacing my entire sewer line wouldn't even cost that much!

I called another plumbing company who I know to be honest and reliable (they don't work on sewer lines but are knowledgable about them). The other plumbing company laughed and told me that I was being horribly taken advantage of. They also were nice enough to give me the name of an honest plumber who would come out to my house immediately.

The second plumbing company who came out to my house looked at the issue and, after sending a camera down, told me that I had a few rocks that had gotten into my sewer line and was causing the problem. He fixed the problem for $325. I cannot imagine if I had spent $12,000 for something that should cost a fraction of that. Before the second plumber left my house he told me that these large corporate companies are making it impossible for an honest plumber to make a living. This plumber no longer works on residential properties because these large companies like Done plumbing are making them look bad by advertising cheap sewer cabling when really that's just a way into your door to assess whether they can take full advantage of you. It makes me sick the people who probably hand over thousands of dollars to these companies for issues that don't exist. It should be criminal. Unfortunately, it is legal. I would advise to you that if you use this company you remain hyper-vigilant as to their official ""diagnosis"" of what it is your plumbing needs truly are.

We've had them out several times.( Apparently our furnace and air conditioner were not installed correctly to begin with. ) But on this occasion our air conditioning wasn't working. Justin said the thermostat was wired wrong and tripped the breaker or something like a breaker in the unit. With the 3 previous visits nobody ever noticed that? That being said he also broke a ceiling tile and never mentioned it.

While I have to agree with some previous posts regarding the repair charges being too high, let me also say that the company more than makes up for it through their customer service, from their receptionist/dispatcher to the on-site technician doing the repairs.

I may have been able to complete this repair myself for much less, but had never replaced a shower master water control valve before - having their tech complete the work along with a one-year warranty gives me sleep insurance I wouldn't otherwise have had!

The technician was prompt, friendly, respectful (he wore shoe covers when in the house), and explained what the problem was and how to fix it before quoting the price. Overall, VERY professional and, in spite of some reservation about cost, I will be calling them again when I need plumbing/HVAC help in the future.

These guys are good. From the simple snaking of a drain, to a major dig for a new sewer line, each Done crew was exceptional. Number one, they fixed the problem (slow running drains). Number two, they did the major work on schedule and on budget. And finally, there was minimal impact to my existing fence and yard. The latter was very important since I had just spent $3,000 on a new fence and, even though they had to remove sections, it was put back together correctly. From the office personnel I worked with (Nanette), the supervisor in the field (Kieth), to the lead worker on the project (Jaime), I was treated extremely well and all my concerns were addressed. I have told them they have a customer for life, and that's the truth. On a side note, I found these guys on Dave Logan's List... Another service I will use again!

I've used Done previously, and when it was time for a maintenance pipe cleaning, I called them again. Very efficient, and called very soon after I left a service request on the website. Jerry was well within the time window, and done in less than an hour. He also took a quick look at something else I will need to have fixed before too long, and gave me a ball-park estimate.

I have used Done Plumbing for years. They are on time - and very responsive in a crisis. Their plumbers are helpful and efficient, explaining what they plan to do and then going over the results.

I received a moneymailer coupon and didn't expect much more than ""a coupon job."" They were on time, explained everything, made sure that I didn't have any questions and took very good care of my house (floors, etc.) I would gladly call them again!!!

Contacted ""Done Plumbing"" to ""snake"" a slow drain in basement. No quotes are provided over the phone. My tech was polite, courteous, and professional. He deserves a 5-star rating. The charge, however, to cable 15 ft. of drain was $228 and the job took 5 minutes. Won't use Done Plumbing again.

Arrived on time, took care of problem carefully and explained each step
to us. Great work. We're very happy with the ""Done"" Plumbing folks. We
can always count on them to get the work done right and (sorry) but we
ALSO hope we won't have to see them for awhile!

Over $800 to replace the parts in two toilets and one 4"" flex tube. You be the judge.
