Don replaced the carpet on my basement steps with vinyl that he piecemealed together! He ended each step with Metal strips that he cut leaving sharp edges on each step! He nailed each metal strip with screws that do not lay flush. He left us with a very dangerous set of steps! He installed banisters for my special needs child, that fell out of the wall within 2 weeks of installation!! he nailed the banisters into my walls and never found the studs! He trailed deer poop in the house and up my stairs. I asked him numerous times not to walk on the grass because we do have a lot of deer in the area! I made a point of telling Don to keep my doors to the outside shut at all time because the cats could get out. I discovered my screen door ajar and one of my cats leaning up against it!! Save yourself a lot of heartache and stay away from this Handyman!!

This man states, ""there's nothing I cant do""! please don't trust him to lay any flooring or to install railings! He destroyed my basement steps! He piecemealled pieces of flooring on the steps! He used raised metal screws and screwed in sharp metal rims at the end of each step! The pieces are falling off the steps!! The railings he installed fell out of the wall, within a week of installation! he didn't screw the railings into the studs in the wall !! all he had to do was admit, what I was asking him to do, was not his forte and to please call someone else. He refuses to be accountable!!

Avoid. Shoddy work that failed in less than a year. He would not return to fix. Was supposed to replace boards but filled them instead and painted over.

Don and his help were very professional. He is prompt, courteous and reasonable with his work and pricing.

They even were masked properly in response to covid protocols.

I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a local trustworthy handyman.
