Kim Allen has sold the business to Jay at So Bay Plumbing and Heating. Jay serviced an old floor heater professionally. It was very difficult to schedule the work, and he preferred to come at the last minute when he had time.
Eventually, this pattern did not work for me, and we parted ways.

We have used Don Allen Plumbing for almost twenty years. First as renters, our landlord used them, and now as home owners we've continued to use their service. Kim always does professional work at a reasonable price. I see Yelp is stating that the business is ""closed"". I sure hope that's not true!

Needed a plumber to consult on a bathroom project and this company really came through, above and beyond. Very fast at getting back to you and squeezing you into their schedule. Had an old PFister shower knob that needed replacing and they gave me the expensive and cheaper options. Really came through when I ordered the wrong part and got the job done after making an extra stop with one of their suppliers. I would give them ten stars if that was an option. Definitely would call them again for help with other plumbing issues.

I just had Don Allen plumbing out to my 95 year old mother-in-laws home for a heater that would not come on. Turned out to be a fuse and some wires touching that needed to be cleaned up.

While he was there she had him do a repair on a toilet the had been running.

He was on time and very professional.
I has shocked when he said that he was giving he a senior discount
and that there would be no charge.

Even if he had charged her I was impressed with them and I will be calling them for all of my plumbing and heating needs from now on.

Call Kim and his crew for your next project or service needs.I had him do a complete copper re-pipe, relocation of laundry and bathroom drains, and a new natural gas service to my existing 3 bed/ 2 bath.Work was finished in a neat workman like manner that you would typically pay twice the amount for.Very competent and efficient company that only comes from generations of skilled plumbers!

Kim and Roberto were a phenomenal team! We had a clogged kitchen sink and it took less than 15 minutes to unclog and he provided me with tips on how to avoid clogs.

Came on time , fixed the thermopile as per yelp quote , quick and professional . Provided 90 day warranty for the service and 1 year warranty for parts. What more can I ask . next time any plumbing, water heater issues Iam calling Kim.

I highly recommend Don Allen Plumbing. Kim runs his business with a very high level of integrity and quality. Kim and his team did an amazing job transforming my existing worn bathroom with a broken jacuzzi tub starting to ooze mold to an amazing newly remodeled bathroom with a custom voice controlled capable walk-in shower. Kim let me know up front that this would be the first U by Moen Shower he's installed and there were no issues with the install and it works great. Kim and his team were professional during the entire project and were a pleasure to work with. Kim was thorough in his testing to ensure there were no leaks. When I had a leak coming from the attic the only thing I thought it could be was a leak from the shower. I called Kim and he mentioned the more likely culprit was the AC but he would come over and take a look just to make sure. Kim confirmed it was the AC and did not charge for the visit. The bathroom came out better than imagined. The reason I went with Don Allen Plumbing was because of their Yelp reviews and am glad I did.
