Friday night at 3:30 a pipe burst outside. I could not shut off the leak and had to call the Marin Municipal Water District to do it. 90 minutes later they showed up. Try getting a plumber on the weekend. Miguel called and came over. The repair proved to be much more complicated than I thought and he had to return on Monday. He came on time, dug up the pipes, corrected the problem and set it up so I could turn off the outside without shutting the inside. The man is excellent and though he doesn't know it is my new go-to plumber. I don't recognize the guy who helped me in the negative reviews about him.

Miguel from Dominguez Plumbing came to the rescue within hours on a Sunday when our main waterline broke and we were without water. Super great service, high quality repair at very reasonable price. I would highly recommend Dominguez Plumbing for any type of repair, service or remodel.

Our kitchen drain got clogged over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. Miguel was at our house Monday morning at 8:30, cleared the clog, put in a new clean-out under our kitchen sink, and did it all in an hour and a half. He was on time, neat, cleaned up after himself, and was even nice to my dog! Very happy with his services, and will be using him again.

First, you might do fine with this plumber if you are a man. Because even if his repairs suck, you could get him to pay attention to you. If you are a woman, prepare to be dismissed, disregarded and diminished. His crew ripped a crack in our counter top, didn't install toilet ""guts"" so they wouldn't overflow, and didn't even tighten down a connecting pipe they installed so that it wouldn't leak. When called back to witness the destruction, he blamed the house and that it is old. I can't remember literally hating someone so much in recent memory. He was nasty. Seriously. There is so much to this story that I can't bring myself to recount, as it is still painful and dangerously elevates my blood pressure. This is the most telling detail: we sent him a picture of the overflowing toilet tank and until he was standing in front of the tank, he was swearing I was at fault. When he saw that his crew was at fault he refused to take responsibility and blamed the house!

Miguel did a good and efficient job of fixing my toilets, but made the leaky faucet worse. When I called twice to ask him to come back and fix it, never heard back.

We recently used Dominguez Pluming to help us with our kitchen remodel. Miguel is a great guy. He came in, all business, and proceeded to crank out the work we needed to have done. He had creative solutions to seemingly difficult problems. He was very knowledgeable, helpful, punctual, friendly and reasonable. I'd refer him in a second to anybody.

In the last three years we've had nothing but good work from Miguel. I unreservedly recommend him and his work. He is friendly, punctual and determined to do a good job. And a good job he does. Our bathroom looks (and works) great and the kitchen too. I have nothing but good things to say about him and I was especially happy to hear that he has taken over Stanley Searles business. His prices are good too . . . having saved us from being overcharged by the National Franchises.

Miguel is a poor communicator and arrogant when I questioned his choice of fixtures.
He had already cut into the bathroom tile and refused to exchange a tacky fixture for another. He was rude to me and unhelpful in attempting to remedy a problem. Beware of bad attitude - will never use him again!

Miguel has helped me out in a pinch two times. Once I called when we had a flood outside when a pipe burst in our yard. He had to do some major excavating and was able to fix the pipe and then reassemble the yard. We were very pleased!

This weekend our 30 year old (yes 30!) water heater finally gave out. He called me back on the weekend, came, installed a new one and did it on time and in a professional and friendly manner. We will use him again and would definitely recommend him!

Made arrangements for some plumbing work. Couldn't commit to a specific time to come over to scope out the work and was really brusque on the phone. Finally arrived and we agreed on what had to be done - he then told me that his ""helpers"" were going to come by to do the work. Didn't I hire you? They finished the work and charged an absolutely exorbitant amount for the work and told me at the end that it might have been unnecessary if we had tried a couple of things before calling them. Really not the way to engender goodwill and keep the customer coming back.

Disappointing, for sure. Will look elsewhere.
