I have been using Dolphin Plumbing for several years. Just today our hot water heater broke. Mike came out within an hour and replaced the old heater with a new one. Fair price and great job! I HIGHLY recommend this family owned business.

He was rude, unprofessional, and didn't properly do the work. When I called him to discuss the issues, he didn't reply to texts, and didn't return phone calls (his answering service was nice). I finally reached him on his cell at 5:50pm and he gave me a hard time that I called him when he was with his kids. I can completely understand now why he received so many ONE star reviews by others on yelp. Never seen such a poor plumber. He told me he is not going to refund me, so I need to decide if I should go to Small Claims Court for justice, or Better Business Bureau, or the State Contractors Board. Very frustrating.

For several days I been trying to get this company to come to my house and to fix my issues with my sink than on the third day of many attempts to contact them I was told that because of my issue with my disposal and my address he did nothing t want to see me. I told him I was a service member and that did not matter he did not want to help Dolphins plumber does not care about military members or people that are not worth their time

I've had Dolphin Plumbing fix some leaks under our kitchen sink, install a new garbage disposal, and replace some bathroom fixtures for an upgrade my wife wanted done for our guest bathroom. When I requested a quote, the pricing was reasonable and the work to be performed was clearly stated along with the materials they would use for the job. The work was performed and finished on time and to my complete satisfaction (and to my wife's which was even more important)! They cleaned up the areas after they finished the work and disposed of all refuse once the job was done. And they made it clear if there were any problems with what they had done, they would come back and make it right at no additional charge. So far, that hasn't been necessary on any of the work. My next big project is going to be installation of a new on demand water heater and I'm calling them first for a quote. Very pleased with their work.

Mike went the extra mile to make sure that my leaky shower head was fixed. He spent the entire morning going to three different stores to get the right part for my ancient plumbing, but he only charged me one hours labor and nothing for the little part needed!! He could easily have given up and told me that I needed to replace the whole valve, which would have required ripping out the wall and cost me $500, instead he put in the extra effort to make sure I was taken care of for way less time and expense. This guy has integrity, know-how, and really cares about his work. Thanks Mike

Dolphin Plumbing has been providing services to homes I live in for the past 8 years. They have always been responsive, reasonable in price and personable to deal with. I would recommend them to anyone needing plumbing work done on their property. I have had leaks and clogs repaired by them. I have had them install toilets and water heaters. We have covered a lot of ground in the type of plumbing work they have done for me. This is a great local company and I think they will do a good job for you.

If I could I would also give Dolphin Plumbing zero stars!!! When the main line of my duplex clogged up, I started looking for a plumber to call. Then I remembered always seeing a Dolphin Plumbing Van on our street, someone who worked for that company also lived on our street.

So I decided to call them. Talk about a huge mistake!!! When the plumber went to clean out our main line, I saw what looked like (Right hand to God when I say this!!). The device looked like a slinky; except that it was way longer and not as big around as a slinky. There wasn't any sort of cutting device on the end of the thing; to cut through tree roots which was what I believed was clogging our main line. When I saw that device it totally made me nervous to say the least; I had a bad feeling and I should have stopped him and called another company.

Needless to say I didn't stop him and allowed him to do the work; that was a huge mistake since by the next week our main line was again clogged up. When I called their company back I told them about the device that he had used, and how it didn't actually clear out our main line.

The man said we can come back out and do it again for you, since we guarantee our work. At that point I asked if they could use the actual machine that's normally used to clean out the main line? The one with the tool on the end that cuts the tree roots? He stated to me that they would be using the same tool that they originally had used. By now I was totally hot under the collar; I stated that what he used looked like a freaking slinky and it didn't work. Obviously it didn't clean out the tree roots before since 1 week later I was having to call them again because our main line was again clogged up.

That's when he started saying that maybe we were having other problems with our main line. He went on to say we can come back out and try to clear it again. Then if that didn't work then maybe we needed to have a camera sent through the line to check it.

I've owned my duplex for over 30 years and have had to have the main line cleared many times. Finally I said that slinky looking thing didn't work the first time and I seriously doubt it will work a second time either. That was when I asked can I just get a refund so I can hire someone else who will be able to clean it out for me?

Yeah.... he said we can come out and try clearing it out again and if it doesn't work then you probably have a bigger problem going on as I said. And you should have a camera sent down to look at the pipe. I told him thanks a lot for ripping me off, but I'll take my business to people who actually know how to do the job right the first time.

Yeah I called another plumber who promptly came out and used the machine with the cutting blades on the end. Yeah he actually pulled tree roots out of my main line....go figure!!!

Needless to say I wouldn't call Dolphin Plumbing if I were sitting knee deep in water; and their plumbing truck were already parked in front of my house!!

This used to be a family owned business, but the father has retired and the son is an arrogant, argumentative guy. They aren't open 24 hours as their ad states, they're so anxious to get home that they won't come after 4 PM-you have to wait til the next day, They've left damage and incomplete work-they aren't good communicators and they certainly don't care for feedback. After many years I'm finding a new plumber.

I wish I could leave zero stars. Dolphin Plumbing is AWFUL! I called to make an appointment with Mike. He insisted that I be able to meet him by 430pm because he would be wrapping up for the day. I asked him if we could meet a little later so I wouldn't have to leave my work early. He stated that this was not a possibility. So, I cut my work day short to meet him at 430pm. He was over an hour late with no phone call. I had to call him to find out if he'd actually be showing up. When he did finally arrive he spent the first bit of time at my residence debating over whether or not he should park in front of the fire hydrant when there will plenty of parking spots all around it. His odd behavior continued when he came inside without any tools and wanted to know what tools I had available for his use. I started to wonder if he was a plumber at all.

He finally determined that my drain was clogged with sand from the previous tenant and would need to blast the sand out. I asked him if I should call the landlord or if he would call to establish the plan for follow-up. He told me that he would, and then he never did. I waited over one week before I contacted the landlord for him to complete his work. When he finally came back to blast out the drain he left the most disgusting mess I've ever seen a plumber leave behind. So gross! He ruined two of my towels that were brand new. I WOULD NEVER ALLOW DOLPHIN PLUMBING INTO MY HOME AGAIN.

I was so relieved to find this family run, neighborhood business. I had the head of a toilet supply valve break off in my hand and start dripping steadily at 1am on a Sunday morning . We had houseguests and I couldn't shut off the water to the whole house. I was emptying the pan under the drip every hour.
Half way through Sunday morning, I realized that I couldn't make it until Monday and called Dolphin plumbing. They answered the phone, came out, and the job was done. The plumber was here less than 30 minutes and even coached me on the improperly installed toilet flapper and replaced it.
By 11:30am, I was stress free! I should have called them earlier. Now I know and will use them for other small plumbing projects that I have been putting off.
