I have used Dollar Plumbing several times for service. They are always quick to come out and very honest about what needs to be done. I have had a few times where they stopped me from spending more than I needed to. No hard upsell and their work is great. I will continue to use them as my primary plumbing service.

Dollar plumbing is the best choice for your plumbing needs. I called and they scheduled me for a garbage grinder repair and shower plumbing right away. They are fast, efficient and friendly. Their estimates are reasonable, and will try their best to save you money. Al was awesome and make some valid recommendations. I would call them again if I need plumbing in my condo. Dollar plumbing has helped me twice in the last 6 months. Unclogged a kitchen sink and replaced a water heater. As for the water heater, the same day I called a new one was installed. Great service!

I called Dollar Plumbing to help with an issue I had with our tub, it wasn't draining. They had someone show up early in the time window that they gave me. He was very thorough and cautious because I live in an older house and he didn't want to damage any of the old pipes. I appreciated it very much. Best of all the price was good! Would not hesitate to recommend them.

Today (Memorial Day) we woke up to a gushing irrigation valve next to the house. Nothing would stop it until we turned off all the water, and so of course we needed a fix very soon or would not be able to use the bathroom, etc. But it is a holiday! After calling and leaving messages with 3 sprinkler repair companies (who still have not called back), we finally tried Dollar Plumbing, and got a real person on the phone immediately. She told us to send someone out would be a $55 charge, and we gladly said ok. She then gave us a window of 9 - 11 am, which we were very happy with, as it was already 9 am. About 10:30 Al showed up. He took a look at the problem, but then pointed out that one of the water lines we shut off was not the water main, but just for the irrigation, so we would be able to turn the house line back on by itself. That worked, and he did give us an estimate to do the full repair, but we decided to get an irrigation company to check out all of our sprinkler system at one time since we know we have some other minor leaks. So we gladly paid the $55, even though it was our own silly lack of knowledge on how the water system worked, but at least now we have our water back in our house and can get the irrigation fixed later this week. Al was very nice, was not pushy at all, and I would not hesitate to call Dollar Plumbing again if we have another plumbing need- especially at an odd hour or on a holiday! Thank you, Al!

Al came the same day we called, and did not leave until the job was finished. He replaced our water heater and did the necessary adjustments to bring everything up to code. Al was both courteous and professional. When the city inspector came by, she said that everything was done exactly as it should be. We were completely satisfied with his work, and plan to call him again when we have other plumbing needs.

I have a property in Livermore that I manage for some tenants. After they moved in, the sewer line backed up due to increased usage after a brief vacancy and more people using the water. It happens. We have a pesky tree in which the roots go into the pipe about 10-15 feet from the house, about $200 max to snake from the convenient clean out located about 10 feet from the tree. My regular plumber's schedule could not allow him to get there the next day. Unknown to me, the tenant called Dollar Plumbing. That was when it happened. We got scammed.

A regular plumber would call me first with the findings and give me an estimate, then they would ask for permission to proceed. None of that happened. My feeling is they saw an opportunity to take advantage of a situation and charged an ""emergency fee."" All the more reason to call the manager right? They billed us over $700 to snake from the clean out which is right there in the front yard to the sidewalk. Over $700. Sorry to the other reviews, but Dollar is a No Go. Seems like to them the ""Dollar"" is on their side not yours or mine.

I feel George Washington would turn over in his grave if he knew Dollar Plumbing is using him as part of their logo.

Recently, I got a bill paid by my Property Management
Company for snaking procedure in the main sewer line
to clear out a build up of roots in the line. When I lived
there, it is now rented, I would have someone come in
to clear the line on the average about once yearly. In the
many times I had this done I was never charged more
than $175 usually less. The bill Dollar Plumbing charged
was $720. and by the description of what was done on the
billing statement no more was done than what others had
done. This is gouging in the literal sense and I will never
use this company ever again to service my property. My
recommendation is to look elsewhere if you need plumbing
services
