No heat right before Thanksgiving. Dolan's technician did a thorough diagnostic before delivering the bad news that it needed to be replaced. The new unit was promptly installed, tested and is keeping us warm. Courteous, professional service and competitive pricing.

Someone came to my house for an estimate. I was told I would hear back within a few days with a quote. Never heard from them. I called & was told the technician was ill & they would get back to me soon. They never did. They wasted my time, but it was a waste anyway because the technician was incompetent compared to others I had quotes from. I'll never use them or recommend them.

I'm very satisfied with Dolan's service. My water heater failed while I was away from home for 3 weeks, and it caused water leaks to my downstairs neighbor. The Property Manager from my HOA recommended Dolan's service.

The service guys showed up fast within a few hours I called in the morning. The technician Sean replaced my old water heater with a new unit and cleaned up nicely after the work was completed. He answered my questions, also patiently explained to me how the water heater works, what happened with my old unit and what to do to prevent any potential issues when I'm away from home again. It was educational. Everything was done the same day that I called for the service. I'm very impressed with Dolan's service. I purchased a 10 year warranty to ensure no more water heater problems ever happen again.

Did a conversion to natural gas and hired Dolan to do the piping, install a new clothes dryer and gas boiler, and remove the old oil tank in the basement. In addition they were supposed to install a kick heater in my kitchen (a cold room) and add a 5 foot length of baseboard heater to the master bedroom (also cold). Their quote was high but their reviews on Angie's List were very good (I don't know why) so I went with them anyway.

The work that they actually did was mostly okay BUT they never finished the job and the boiler they installed is critically undersized. Neither the kick heater or the baseboard were ever installed. Much, much WORSE was the fact that their crew decided that removing the old tank was too uncomfortable for them since it had to be brought up a flight of stairs. This prevented me from getting a C.O. since leaving the tank in the basement is against Code.

Several years later we hired ANOTHER COMPANY to remove the old tank. They arrived on time, never complained and in fact were upbeat the entire time they were here. The job was completed in about 2 hours. They did a perfect cleanup and they never spilled a drop.

WHAT A CONTRAST BETWEEN CONTRACTORS !!!

I have used them before they do alright work but there prices are just nuts. If you are looking for a good Plumber with a fair price do yourself a favor and look in your phonebook!

I used Dolan based on good reviews but they are the worst.
They came to us to repair water leak. In order to identify the leak, they had to washing machine running and manually set to spinning mode so that water drains. Two guy were trying to figure out to set to spinning mode by pushing reset button and start button and all other buttons in control panel for over 20 minutes and they were cursing to washing machine since it did not work for them. They finally gave us and moved the washing machine and manually put water from horse to drain.
Few hours after they left, we realized that the washing machine does not work anymore. When pushing any buttons on control panel, we got error sign.
so I called Dolan to let them know that our washing machine does not work after they pushed so hard to get spinning mode going.
They told me that our washing machine was old and was about to break and they have nothing to do with breaking our washing machine
Really?
Dolan is one of companies that take advantage of situation and only care about making money.
DO NOT USE THEM!!!

Called Dolan and waited two days for the service call. Two men were courteous and on time as the appointment was set for 9 am. But when I asked about the price for the garbage disposal installation and unit. They quoted almost $500 before tax! The unit they were supplying was under powered and the installation should have cost less than $100. My estimate was just a little more than half of that. Terrible pricing

My family has called Dolan Inc over the past few years to fix electrical issues in our home. They have always been professional, informative, and reasonably priced. This week, we had Kevin and Brandon come out to fix an electrical issue, and they were great! Very professional, kind, and they got the work done quickly. Our family cannot thank them enough for their work. They are greatly appreciated!

Extremely disappointed with Dolan. My only experience with Dolan ended up being a horrible misdiagnosis of why water was coming through my ceiling. I was told I needed my entire shower, rows of tile and tub basin to be pulled out to fix a ""support issue"" for the basin when what ended up being the real problem was simply a cracked drain pipe. If they opened up the ceiling they would've seen that. So we go from thousands of dollars to hundreds of dollars. And on top of that, it's been 6 days since they were here and they haven't even bothered sending their ridiculous quote to me nor they have they contacted me. Stay away folks.

Can not say enough wonderful things about the workers at Jack Dolan. Roger and his helper Robert are very professional and do a fabulous job. I used them for my bathroom and then hired them again for my kitchen. The work was done in a timely manner and they took great care of my home.
