Wont recommend this company , Ryan is incredibly rude with his responses and has been delaying work for over 4 weeks.

We had two issues: a slow kitchen sink drain, and a leaking garage water spicket. Doherty's Plumbing and Drain's Expert Plumber Dirk called when he was en route, and texted again upon arrival, as requested. He wore a mask, gloves, and booties when entering our home, which was appreciated. I showed him the 2 issues, and he immediately got working on the garage spicket, replacing old/worn parts, and confirming no more leakage. He then assessed the kitchen sink issue very quickly, and isolated the problem in the pipe under the left side sink. It took him about 15 minutes to replace all old piping, check the disposal, and verify that the slow drain is fixed. A top-notch service professional, whom I would highly recommend! When American Home Warranty assigned Doherty's to my issue I was worried because of the negative reviews and after my unsuccessful attempt to convince them to assign me a new plumber I accepted my fate to have Doherty's. I am baffled by the negative reviews! Derc called ahead and was prompt. He was polite and extremely effective. A total rockstar who has fixed our demonic garbage disposal which made the underside of our sink look like something from The Exorcist, and a leaky shower which was pouring through the floor and into our den below. I cannot thank him enough for his professionalism, knowledge, and work ethic! THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!

We've been completely without a hot water tank for going on 8-days. We've been 100% unable to do dishes, laundry or take showers/baths. I have a newborn and was hospitalized this week, but they still don't care. No fact makes this business care about you. They will not help you. Ryan is extremely unresponsive, unprofessional and unreliable. He yelled at my husband over the phone and hung up on him after my husband called him about 15-times in a row in order to get a response. Similarly, Ryan would not answer calls from my cell phone, but he is not smart enough to realize that his text message read receipts are on and illustrated that he was instantaneously receiving all of my text messages -- and still not responding. Likewise, his secretary, whatever her name is, also hung up on my husband and cussed him out over the phone after my husband was simply asking for a ""yes or no answer"" as to whether they can do this job, or if we should find someone else who can. Needless to say, we had issues with the staff AND the owner with no positive outcome -- we are back to square one. I am a firm believer in karma, however. It's astounding to me that a business would treat a family this way with a newborn in the middle of winter. I would give this business 0 stars, if at all possible. Hopefully this business is shut down.

Our water heater went out on a Thursday. We contacted our warranty company and they sent over Doherty's Plumbing the next day. The tech that they sent was very professional, Ryan the owner on the other hand, what a loser! After 6 days they still haven't submitted their work order to the warranty company and has been dodging all of our calls. He finally answered this morning but saying ""If you would stop calling maybe I would get your quote sent over"" before hanging up on me. What an absolute joke this company is! No wonder they have to get jobs from warranty companies because their customer service is the worst I've ever experienced. If you go through a warranty company and they ever try to use Doherty's, RUFUSE TO WORK WITH THEM BECAUSE YOURE GOING TO WAIT A WEEK AND STILL FIND ANOTHER CONTTRACTOR!!!!

After diagnosis which took about 45 days, the technician reported the wrong part number to the home warranty company. I had to pay out of pocket to get a second opinion and correct the part model. Avoid Doherty plumbing by any means.

Horrible service, the worst service I have had. Took 4 weeks for the technician to write a simple ""diagnostic"" report!!!. It seems that is a trend based on the previous review regarding the same matter. I if you want to deal with simple repair for 2-3 months back and forth that would be the great contractor.

We needed a new water heater and had to deal with a home warranty company. Doherty's worked on our behalf to get the job done in a timely manner. They were professional and courteous. We highly recommend them.

I had to use this plumber through a home warranty service as he is one of their contractors. This is the most unprofessional plumber ever. I needed a washing machine hook-up box replaced. This guy took forever to get a hold of, then he didn't show. When he did show he did not wear a mask in my house! Highly rude, and inconsiderate. Then he said he had to get approval from the home warranty people, that took weeks for him to do. This wasn't the home warranty people being slow, it was him because I called them asking if they have received his paper work. A month and three weeks later I call him asking if he was going to be able to fix this. He said he would be out the next morning to do the work. Guess what? He didn't show. No courtesy phone call either. He called 4 days later saying he would get me scheduled. Do not use this plumber, and if you use a home warranty service tell them you refuse to use his services. Luckily my home warranty services has allowed me to use my own plumber.

Did I mention this is Ryan, the owner? What a joke.
