Radi did a superb job with a full copper repipe of my 41 year old house in Del Mar 4 years ago (see my previous review), and I was thrilled when he was available to check out a new leak inside my garage wall last Friday. He came over immediately (Friday night at 6:30) He wound up making two small drywall cuts, one in the garage where the drywall was wet, and one above it in our living room. He knows where to cut, so no unnecessary holes. He found a leaking glued joint in 3"" PVC drain pipe (old houses settle...), repaired it, and patched and textured the drywall so perfectly that it doesn't need painting! I remember the same after the repipe, where half of the drywall in the house had been opened - I did not need to call a painter when he was finished. Left the garage clean. Reasonable, reliable, pleasant - highest recommendation.

After several pin hole leaks we decided to move forward with a repipe. We got several quotes and Dr. Piper was within the range of quotes we had been receiving. We chose Dr. Piper based on Radi, his knowledge and the reviews on Yelp. Radi is one of the rare individuals that stands behind his work and his word 100%. At one point I tried to pay him for some of the work that had completed and he said he will not accept any payment until the work is complete. That is a testament to how dedicated he is to his work and his customers. Occasionally we all come across businesses that we are excited to promote and tell others about and Dr. Piper is one of those rare companies. We highly, highly recommend Radi and Dr. Piper.

We just had our whole house repiped. Radi's workers were outstanding. Tremendous work ethic: knowledgeable, hard working and very polite. The amount of time without water was minimal considering the size of the project. One unexpected issue arose and the guys immediately began to troubleshoot and quickly solved and fixed the problem. The price was reasonable too. We would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Piper plumbing.

A couple other plumbers said I needed to open up my tile shower wall to get at a clogged pipe. Dr. Piper did more troubleshooting than he expected to do, and figured out the true problem. He fixed the shower valve (or some other related part), and it works perfectly now.

Our home was built in 1989 and the builders used Polybutylene pipes (plastic grey color pipes). At the time it was believed to be a great choice but it was the cheap choice. These types of pipes after years of usage, especially on the hot water supply side tend to weaken and can create small puncture holes because of the flucation of the pipes.
After many years of repairing at the source of the problem- we finally decided to re-pipe the whole house when we experienced a massive leak above the hot water heater.
We had looked into repiping the whole house about a year and half ago and looked at quotes from a few different companies. Dr. Piper was by far the best one. For one reason or another we had put the re-pipe on hold until the massive leaked happened.
I got in touch with Radi on a Monday night when this happened and by Tuesday morning his crew was at my house ready to work. Radi mentioned to me that the job would take until Sunday to finish and i was fine with that. To my surprise they had finished re-piping, redrywalling, and retexturing by Thursday night - it only took them three days to finish and they did a great job!!!
The guys on the job were very professional, friendly, and took me step by step on what they were going to do. There were never any dumb questions from my side, gladly answering any i had. Thanks Radi and to your crew at Dr. Piper. I would recommend Dr. Piper to any one. Great Quality work!!!

After our Home Warranty failed us and would not send a technician out on a Sunday like they told us they would, we found Dr Piper through Yelp. We were looking for a plumber who would actually work on weekends when people typically are home.

That morning we were awoken by our neighbor to find out our water heater was leaking. After searching online and getting quotes, we moved forward with Dr Piper. The owner kept in communication and sent out an employee who removed our old water heater and installed a brand new one without any issues. It went very smoothly which we were very grateful for. Additionally he was very friendly and explained how the new water heater worked compared to our old one.

We attempted to contact some of those ""big name"" companies for the job but the work was completed and we were back to enjoying hot water before they even returned our call to provide a quote.

I would recommend this company to anyone looking for a Plumber.

Sort Version: Re-piping due to slab leak. Also got tankless water heater and whole house filter and conditioner. Several estimates. A little concerned by Radi's and George's 'we'll take care of it ... we'll do it right ... don't worry"" communication compared to some others. So we called them back for details, and they spent all the time we needed to go over every step and every hole in the wall. They were right: the did it very well in exactly the way they said the would. They took extra steps they didn't promise or have to in order to make sure things were aesthetically pleasing, and it was fast. Happy we chose them. Have recommended to friends.

A couple worth reading examples:
1) For the showers (valves), others said that they would have to cut a bigger hole in the tile and use an oversized ""retro work"" cover plate (ugly) or get a tiler in to redo some tile. Radi said ""No, you won't have to do that. We'll do it through the existing hole."" Others said no way. So, we were skeptical of Radi's answer. And ... they did exactly what they said. The re-piped the valve with no expansion of the hole. I looked at every step and too pictures. Awesome! No ugly mega cover plates.

2) We just renovated the kitchen and were not keen on pulling out the new wall cabinets that were trim scribed to the ceiling. Others said no option or cut into the outside wall for 8 feet (house is not stucco). Radi said, we'll work it out, and they did with no cabinet removal and no outside work.

Repiping, tankless water heater, and whole house filter and conditioner, but never out of water at night at any fixture! On top of that, the guys were really friendly. Sat with them having a beer at the end of the day one day.

You should go with them.

We were on our fourth pipe leak in less than 18 months, so we decided to repipe the entire house and replace our old water heater with a tankless water heater. We were not impressed with any of our previous plumbers. I called Dr Piper and Radi was very responsive and quickly sent a technician out to assess the problem and provide an estimate. Radi and his crew are honest and work extremely hard. They were sensitive to the fact that we were still living in our house through the construction/plumbing. We have 3 young children and two dogs and the crew was polite, professional, and conscientious at all times, they felt like part of the family. I would highly recommend Radi and his crew at Dr Piper to anyone that has plumbing needs. They are experts and take pride in their work.
