Dr. Pipe has been my go-to for many years. They may not be the cheapest but they know their stuff and have never let me down. After Katrina, even though they had a list of hundreds of water heaters to install, they came to help me out because I am a faithful customer. Last night I had a plumbing catastrophe, but they came this morning and the problem was resolved. They are always so nice, a rarity these days. I would never call anyone else!

Dr Pipe has an inspection contract with my condo building and has had a contract for quite some time. But I will be working on not getting that contract renewed.
Approximately two months ago Dr Pipe came to our condo building to assess possible plumbing issues throughout the building.
I was told that I had a few valves that needed to be changed and to call to make an appointment. I called a week later to be told the dispatcher would call to set an appointment, that never happened.
I called again about ten days later to be told, ""The dispatcher will be contacting you today to set an appointment"" That never happened! Once again, I called and actually spoke to the dispatcher himself and was told someone would be out Friday at 9:00 AM. Not only did they not show up, I didn't even receive a phone call to say they weren't able to make it.
The following Monday I spoke to a lady and was told someone would get back to me that day and apologized for the no-show. I still did not hear back from anyone.
Today I was able to speak to Steve, the owner, when I explained my experience to him, he told me that they've been busy. Nit only did he not apologize for my past experience, he came across as though I was bothering him. I asked the owner of the business, ""Should I just take my business elsewhere?"" We replied, ""Well if you're not happy maybe you should"" and that's exactly what I did!
Dr Pipe is not a business that focuses on customer service.

I have used other plumbing companies in my lifetime and Never had the urge to want to write a review on any for the work received. I just recently called and used Doctor Pipe for a ongoing plugged up pipe over the years in my garage. I only know him as Kevin,but what a professional Doctor Pipe has on there team, not only did Kevin unplug the problem, but also took the time to explain the process along the way. Problem was solved, area cleaned up, and information on how to keep pipes clean, and just a professional attitude the whole way, what a bargain. If you haven't had this service listed above, do yourself a favor......... call Doctor Pipe, and just maybe you will be moved to write your first review also.

I've used this company before and hadn't had an issue with them and that's why I chose them again. I paid to get my toilets unclogged and initially they were but the next Ruth problem came back and I called and they came but the problem wasn't resolved. I called again and was told I they come out it would be a charge because it was no warranty because they believe I may have a faulty line and would recommend a video camera probe. How can you not warrant your service? The video camera probe is a ply to get more money from the consumer. I don't honestly see how you can pay for a service that wasn't done completely. My first call to Mike wasn't a bad experience nor my call initially today until I felt it unfair to pay for a service not done completely. I asked for some type of compensation so I can call another plumber and was told no , I asked to speak with the owner and was told I can speak with him tomorrow but I received a call from Steve and was told they're would not come out unless I pay for camera services. I feel as though this is a way to get money out of homeowners because once again I don't see how you have a business and do not warranty your work , try to work with your customer , or come to a better resolution other than call another plumber. Thanks a lot Dr. pipe! Ok

Every now and then you come across a company that more than exceeds your hopes and expectations, and Doctor Pipe is certainly one of those companies. :-)

We had a major freeze in January of this year that left many of us in the greater New Orleans area with burst pipes and in a tough way. By the time my pipes thawed out and I became aware of the many leaks, there were already many people already waiting for plumbing service and the dispatcher was honest in saying there would be a wait for service. Wow, was it worth the wait!

Mr. Mike called me on a Saturday morning, which was a full 72 ahead of my scheduled day of contact set for Tuesday. Two gentlemen came by, Clyde and Brian, and they tackled a very complicated job, (multiple burst pipes), with a herculean effort in working over 6 hours straight without as much as a break. This included cutting through old iron cast pipes and laying many new lines to get things going again.

Thanks to the exceptional effort from Clyde and Brian, my girlfriend and I, my mom, and a tenant all had working water by Saturday evening. After going many days without working water, the efforts of everyone involved with Doctor Pipe during that tough freeze will always be greatly appreciated, which is why I write this post today.

Even though it was a tough time in which plumbing companies could have charged a fortune to those of us who literally didn't have any water, Doctor Pipe was very reasonable, which speaks volumes to the integrity that this company has towards its customers.
