Our AC went out last night (on the hottest night ever) and I called Doctor Fix-It this morning and was able to make a same day appointment which was great. The technician who helped us out was Eric N. He was super nice and knowledgeable about our AC and answered all the questions I had, which were a lot. He offered us different options and understood that some were out of our budget. Air conditioning is definitely not cheap. Eric was able to replace one of the parts which got the AC up and running again. We will definitely be calling him again when we need any HVAC services. Also used the $50 yelp coupon.

Dave Logan shouldn't be advertising this company because they're in the business of ripping people off!! Please do not hire this company. if I can save one consumer the pain of getting ripped off, I did good.

I made an appointment more than a week in advance for a plumber and A/C repair. Just before the were supposed to show up, I get a call saying neither technician will be coming. I find it annoying when a company with a 24 hour cancellation policy doesn't show you the same curtesy.

Technician arrived within scheduled window. Fixed my sensor faucet in my kitchen, and explained everything to me along the way. Very friendly and knowledgeable service. I did feel it was a bit pricey; but I'm happy to support a family friendly company. I did have a $50 off coupon, which they applied.

Jose showed up for the appointment time only twenty minutes after the start of my 2-4 pm window. He looked at and cleaned our AC unit and educated me on ways to make our old system run as efficiently as possible. At the end of the appointment he provided some options and quoted a full system clean and optional duct cleaning. He was professional, friendly and knowledgeable. When it comes time to look at replacing our unit (possibly in the near future) we will definitely have Dr. Fix It come provide a quote.

Had Dr. Fixit look at a disposal in our rental property that wasn't working. Received a call back that it needed to be replaced for $700+. A disposal costs roughly $150. That's over $550 in labor for about an hour of work. WOW!! Don't get scammed. Way better options out there!

We recently had Dr Fixit replace our hot water heater. 50 gallons, standard installation. They charged us $2700. We later discovered the fair market value for this job is about $1500 - $1800. The heater itself retails for about $600 so we paid approximately $2100 for labor & materials. Needless to say, we'll do our homework next time, but I find it sad that there are companies like Dr FixIt that exploit uninformed(read stupid) customers.
