Our home warranty (AHS) sent Dock Side to fix our downstairs bathroom. Carlos was our service guy, very personable young man and patient. Ended up the people who fixed the same toilet six months ago didn't fix it properly ... seen that the flange was rusted and being on the ground floor, was rusted to concrete. The tech took pictures and let the toilet unfinished, said this is work not covered by AHS. I called and spoke with Chris, at Dock Side and asked how soon could I get this job done and cost. even though he wasn't able to fit me in, he took the time to walk me through what would be needed. steps are a challenge for my husband and I so the downstairs bathroom is an urgency for us. Dock Side was honest and patient, showed complete courtesy and that means a lot in my book. I hope the company who does this job for us is honest and has integrity.

AHS home warranty first called Dockside plumbing. Chris charged the $100 fee, was rude, didn't explain the problem, just said the 2 water heaters were shot and not covered by AHS and lastly that he couldn't replace them for at least a week and left- doing nothing. So I called Pure Plumbing at neighbors recommendation. They were very nice and came out same day but charged $100 just to come. Their quotes were ridiculous ranging from $6000-$10,500 so we said no. Then I called Vegas Plumbing and I'm so glad I did. Matt came right out for free, gave us the lowest quote and fixed it that night. He was professional, courteous, did a great job and gave us an unbelievable quote.

Warranty company called them to fix a sewer clog on my rental property. Found a clog 50-100 ft away from the house and said they couldn't do anything else. This company did not even have the courtesy to call me, the requestor to give me an update.
Stay away from these guys.

Had to call another trusted handyman to come out and unclog the pipe near the cleanout. Cost me a lot less.

These Dockside plumbing guys also suggested the most expensive fix with high tech cameras and stuff. Wow...another scam!

Water Heater blew, Dockside was assigned through my warranty company, and the owner of company came out and within one hour I had a brand new water heater installed and working!! I watched the entire job and asked tons of questions and he took the time (while working) to explain everything he was doing and also why!! I would recommend this company to anyone who wants quality and efficient work!! Thank you so much!!

The owner just contacted me and instead of resolving the issue. He was cursing and threatening me.

Will not, cannot and do not recommend this plumbing company! Had a simple plumbing repair that another company could not achieve so I reached out to my warranty company and they sent me this company. Spoke with the gal that does the appointments and within that conversation she just didn't understand. So when she contacted my home warranty company, which I asked her not to, because she wasn't understanding the problem, she told them multiple things that weren't true or the problem and now my claim was denied because she told them it was my faucet and such when it's just simple cartridge replacement. This is just a FYI, in case your warranty people ever dispatch this company to you or if you ever contact this company at all! This company's ineptness has now been made my problem! Trying to go through multiple levels of authority and supervision to straighten out her damage!
Inexcusable! Chris Becherer aka Owner will probably just comment and defend his company's practices as he always does about 95% of the time. (Insert eye roll) AND, on top of all this, the owner just had the audacity to call me saying he wanted to ""discuss"" this matter and yet all he did was talk over me, call me a liar and insinuate things that weren't even so.
Just one stellar behavior after another, and how dare he drag the other company through the mud with him?! The response below is all BS!! Has no idea what he is talking about. Talk about false!

Ours was a home warranty visit. He never said he was passing on to the warranty company that he felt it was NOT normal wear and tear. When I spoke to him and asked him to explain, he immediately became defensive, pressured speech, raising his voice. Stated that, ""most homeowners think home warranty companies will rebuild your house."" Seems like a pretty insecure and angry guy. Told me he's licensed in 8 states and is number one for American Hone Shield for responsiveness. Of course he complained about how much money he actually was making etc. etc. Read the reviews and REALLY read the responses. That tells you all you need to know.

Believe the reviews you read, so many people cannot be incorrect. I know a lot of us have to go through them because of our home warranty but you can request a cash payout and find your own plumber or specialist, like Nothing but Water Heaters. This company is unprofessional, you call and call they do not answer or return voicemails and in the miracle instance they do answer the receptionist has no idea what is going on. We had an appointment but there is no flexibility. It took five days without hot water to get an appointment with Dockside but Nothing but Water Heaters came out same day and completed the work same day, basically for the same amount with the payout. As consumers we do not need to settle, there are options out there that deserve your business.

I wonder why there are no options for 0 stars when this company definitely deserves it?
Very pleased with the receptionist and speed of appointment.
However, when the plumber arrived (an hour before the 5 hour appointment window), he said there's no leak after running the faucet for a few minutes. The cabinet under my kitchen sink is damaged and of course (duh) I didn't let the water sit there and continue to ruin my cabinet more...so since it didn't have standing water (which I've been soaking up twice a day), and he didn't see anything leak when he turned the sink on, he determined there's no leak. I turned the separate RO faucet on and asked if we should run the dishwasher too to determine where it's coming from and he said he ""can't stand here all day waiting for a leak"" I asked if he could just tighten what's down there and he said he doesn't know what to tighten- I'm not plumber but maybe try the pipe connectors and any other joint- like thing?!?
My home is only about 2 years old and well taken care of, the cabinet is warped from this leak and this ""professional"" ""doesn't know what to do""?!?
Must be nice to make $125 for this visit only for him to spend less than 10 minutes NOT looking for an issue- he didn't even get on the floor to look underneath the counter/cabinet.
Save your time, money and home by choosing a different plumbing company!

**EDIT 1:16pm 3/17/22 thank you for your reply. Builders warranty covered 12 months from closing date, it's been 26 months. See Lennar.com, Hudson of north Las Vegas completed construction in 2021; for additional information on the builders warranty. For the record, Beazer and KB also only cover 12 months so I'm not sure where your ""2 years"" is coming from. My choice to obtain a home warranty following that was to try to protect my home since I take good care of it and want it to remain in peak condition. Seems most reviews here say the same thing- your company did nothing to help, showed up, didn't do anything, was less than helpful, then leaves. And each reply you make attempts to belittle or try to prove someone wrong. Unfortunately for you, that only shows whoever is reading these that you:
1. Don't think highly of your customers intelligence or common sense
2. Have no sense of business ethics
3. Do not provide good customer service
4. Are treating customers exactly how we are all claiming you are treating us.
So thank you for that, I do love when someone proves my point for me.
Get your facts straight, hire employees that care about quality and treat people how you would like to be treated. Bruce was RUDE and had no desire to help your customer. I'm not someone you will bully into submission, try again with the next sucker who doesn't check reviews prior to agreeing with their warranty company's suggestion to use your company.

Dockside Plumbing was sent to our home by American Home Shield to repair our Hot Water Tank. On the first day that they came to look at and diagnose the problem, all they did was take pictures and tell us that they needed to get approval from American Home Shield. The next day they came out to make the repairs. Within 10 minutes of the technician leaving our home, the hot water tank quit working. We immediately called Dockside Plumbing, the lady that answered the phone told me that ""it was working when they left the property"" and really did not seem to care. I then called American Home Shield and explained to them the situation. A few minutes later, Chris from Dockside Plumbing called and was VERY UPSET that I called American Home Shield. After numerous phone calls back and forth to American Home Shield, they finally stated that Dockside Plumbing told them there were missing parts on the Hot Water Tank, that was why they could not get the hot water tank to work properly. American Home Shield then denied any additional repairs based upon the lies that Dockside Plumbing told them. After forcing the issue with American Home Shield and us agreeing to pay for a second opinion by another plumbing company, the other plumbing company agreed with us, that there were NO missing parts and the repair should not have been done and the hot water tank should have been completely replaced. Dockside Plumbing misdiagnosed the entire problem from the beginning and lied to American Home Shield, causing us to be without hot water for over a week. We DO NOT RECOMMEND DOCKSIDE PLUMBING OR AMERICAN HOME SHIELD AND WOULD GIVE THEM A ZERO RATING IF I COULD!!!
