We had a sewage problem, a problem with the distribution box. We called in October 2023, and they did not come out to begin work until months later. They were supposedly short handed, at least that is what we were told. Once they arrived and assessed the situation - they scratched their head time and time again trying to find the problem. You are assuming that you are dealing with professionals who have been in this business for years, and years. They dug up the yard, tore up the drive way, and still have not come back to complete the project. We have not gotten an apology, or a return call.
My mother came to visit at Christmas and she was appalled at the smell that percolated across the yard and up to the house. That was because we had to wash clothes. We have been ignored, and treated as second class, meaning that they got their money and did not complete the project.
If you look closely to the dates on the posts/comments, the dates are not recent. I am not sure what happened to this once reputable company, but their shiesty workmanship, communication skills are undeserving to all those that work hard for their money.
I gave them a 1 star because I could not leave anything lower. So, if you call them be prepared to wait, hope they call you back, hope they put you in their system for an appointed date of service, hope that they will complete the job and not disappear, hope you get an apology, hope you get the project completed correctly, and hope you are offered a refund or discount for the inconvenience you will receive.
All I can say is ""buyer beware"". This company bites!

AVOID THIS COMPANY! Two men came to replace the works in 3 toilet tanks, change the cartridge in a tub and two showers (they changed only one shower), and install a whole house water filter. Later that night, I discovered the water line to a toilet on the 2nd floor of the house had been left running, flooding the bathroom. Water had run under the floor to soak the ceiling of the 1st floor, causing the ceiling to swell and drop down. This caused an accordion door installed at the bottom of the stairs to be damaged beyond repair. I called to report the damage, agreeing that someone would come to see the damages. I got no response. After many more calls, the owner finally called and made an appointment to look at the damages. He never showed, and never called. This company then billed me again 6 months later for this job, and for causing more damages than it cost to do the work they did.

A Word to the Wise.....This company does not communicate clearly. The plumbers arrived without necessary equipment to complete the job - a drain cleaning. These people were at my house for 15 minutes, and did NADA. I understood the $25 fuel fee, but the total charged for the walk-in was $140.95. I'm on a budget, YET nothing was repaired. So, I guess that's that- the drain is still messed up and I'm $115 short ( I'm not counting the fuel charge). Make sure you verify the cost of the appointment before you book.

Charged over twice the price as last time they pumped my tank (2 years), twice as much as other companies. Recommend you compare other companies' rates. I made the mistake of not getting pricing up front because we had used them before...terrible mistake and we will not use them in future.

Called Doby's plumbing on a Saturday, they were able and willing to help me right away. They gave me a time and showed up promptly. they were kind and courteous. They fixed my leak and gave me advice on how to avoid the problem in the future. I would highly recommend them and I will definitely use them again in the future.

We had a sewage backup and spill Friday night. I called 6 different plumbers. I found Doby's on Home Advisor and Doby's is the only one to return my call. They had a crew on site the following morning to locate a broken sewer pipe in the yard. After getting 811 locator service to clear excavation, Doby's replaced 10' of sewer line on Sunday. They were prompt, efficient, and clearly very responsible! I recommend them highly!

These guys are great. very professional, responded quickly, and fixed my difficult well/spring problem at a very fair price. They drove way out of the way - when others would not - and took care of my well issue fast. I can't say enough about how good these guys were - call them if you have water or plumbing issues - they are the best!
