It took the plumber all day to replace cartridge on MOEN kitchen fawcet, where it normally take 15 to 30 minutes to install. Plus plumber came 3 hours late. After he finally finished I have virtually no hot water pressure coming from fawcett. Cost: $140. A sham and disgrace to say the least.

This has been going on for months now no one is lying on my end I have the statements and canceled checks that show a double payment of 1500 it's very simple you'll see the double payment the invoice we have from you is 5400 and change you actually owe us more than 1500 just give us the money we're owed please thank you
And very interesting you'll respond on social media yelp but no one returns my phone calls from your office several messages I've left messages with Jon several times Jon called me we spoke about this months ago give me a break just send us the $1500

Again on May 16 I want to re-iterate to people do not do business with this company. They still have $1500 from our HOA and are all crooks and incompetent.... Vicky is a nice lady but she is incompetent we have the evidence cancelled checks to show a dbl payment but because it was found months after work was done they don't not to refund the money. a gentleman in our homeowners association who handled this at the time has since passed he had cancer @ the time of dbl payment and was confused... Do Right Rooter are a bunch of lowlifes.....do not do business with these guys.........

Do not hire these guys. Called them for simple camera service 175 which they said will rod if necessary.They told me sewer was fine only roots 1300 for jetting.Then said collapsed line 2700 , then said old well 4500 .4 mths later they still have not made repairs.Walked off when I threatened to fire them.Put dirt up against new garage Dr and buckled it.Will have to sue for my deposits and garage dr.All they did was create a mess in my yard!!!

Vicky, the dispatcher is awesome. If you need it done, she will make sure to get a technician on it. All of the technicians are professional and knowledgeable. They are communicative regarding next steps and pricing. Nothing is hidden.

Had great first encounter a year or two ago with this company. But, called a few days ago because my ejector pump went out. Called at about 6:45am was told I would get call back and nobody ever called back. Really wanted to give them my business, but like I said, I never received that call back.

So I hired these guys the days after the huge polar vortex that swept through chicago. All plumbing companies were flooded with calls and we're trying their best to help people out and make sense of the chaos. In this context I am reviewing Do Right plumber. Of all the people I called that weekend, these guys were the only ones to show up and did so relatively on time. The plumber unfroze all the pipes in my basement in about an hour which was great. Unfortunately, my issue was frozen pipes at the sidewalk, where the city is responsible. Although the guy couldn't fix my issue anymore but I had used up an hour of his time, we negotiated fair pay in light of the situation.

It's been at least a month since my family got our job done on our second floor sink. We were given an estimate of $135 on Yelp, after providing addition information that the problem came from the lower floor that effected our sink, the person on the phone said there was a maximum of $165.

Upon completing the job, the workers requested $230 instead of $165. Since the job was already done, it was reluctantly paid. Later we called about the situation and was promised $65 back.

I assumed they understood it was valid because my call was recorded at the time I requested an appointment and I sent a picture of the receipt.

However, obviously it's been a month and I haven't gotten it back. I tried to be patient and friendly, but these people are only taking advantage of it.

Unless you don't care about your money, avoid these people just to be safe.

Do Right Rooter, and specifically John (the owner) have gotten me out of multiple treacherous plumbing situations with grace, adaptability, and at a fair price. He is extremely knowledgeable and is always patient and available to answer questions.

In one case he correctly diagnosed a plumbing line breakage that many other plumbers had incorrectly diagnosed (wasting my money in the process) AND fixed it for less than what others were quoting me.

He has also made himself available during emergency situations including a flood.

For anything from dishwasher installations (David and Gato did a great job), to major plumbing problems, I trust Do Right Rooter. They do high quality work with integrity.
