I would never hire this company. I had a driver in one of their work vans try to cut me off when the lane merged and I did not let him in because there was no one behind me but he wanted to speed up and get in front of me. Then he proceeded to give me the finger. Nice representation of the company he works for after trying to cut me off. I called the Do It Right Plumbers and got almost no response. I work in customer service you represent the company while driving their work van around. Is this what represents this company? I don't think I would want someone like that in my house.

Another update...I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Their first reply insinuated that I had tried to commit insurance fraud. I obviously found that offensive, considering Christian was the one who said he'd fix everything through insurance for me. I reiterated my concerns in my response, and got a nicer response still trying to shove the blame onto the restoration company and absolving their team of any blame. I had already told them told them that I did not have any issues with the restoration company. They offered a phone call with Christian. This has TRULY been what I have been after since MARCH ( a reminder that I called FIVE times asking to speak with him and received no call back, and received several hurtful messages from their team after a negative review instead of getting him on the phone for me), but guess what? SURPRISE! Christian never called me. I have also received no money back, or any apology from Christian about any ""misunderstanding"" or anything like that. Totally ridiculous. It would appear his male ego is so fragile he cant even do the bare minimum to smooth things over.

I've been a customer with you guys for years and each time Dakota has helped me. He was beyond knowledgeable and professional. Today they send someone by the name of Salvador G. He had no idea what he was doing at all. He kept saying I dont know, I don't know. And started making up all kinds of stuff just to charge me on top of that he was so rude when I questioned his ability he said ""I'm just going to leave""
This company has gone down the supervisor didn't care about the complaint at all.

- I paid them $3200 to fix a leak.
- They replaced a bunch of pipes & valves, but they still weren't able to fix the leak.
- They told me that I needed to find a dental-specific repair person to assess my vacuum pump & fix the leak. (I did & it only cost me $160.)
- I left them a well-earned 1-star Google review.
- Their initial reply to that review acknowledged that they misdiagnosed the problem, apologized for not providing the best service possible, and asked me to contact them. (I did contact them, demanding a refund.)
- Not only did they refuse to give me a refund, in an attempt to cover their tracks, they completely made up a story about them informing me of a ""larger issue down the line"" that they offered to assist with, but that I chose to not have them fix it.
- When you compare their two different replies to my Google review side-by-side, you can see how they changed their story in an attempt to avoid accountability.
- The CSLB found that they were responsible for one or more possible violations of the CA Business and Professions Code.
- I don't recommend a company that lacks integrity, operates so deceitfully, and refuses to take ownership of their mistakes.

This company charges TOO MUCH!! for the work that they did for us. We were told we had multiple gas leaks in our property n we needed to have it fixed before gas company turns gas back on ! Christian went to our property n gave us a quote for $35,000 for gas repipe for 2 homes duplex 60 feet repipe between the 2 homes without excavating or trenching which is less work I would think . The plumbers he sent which was probably subcontracted because the people that came to our place didn't even have the logo of their company nor they didn't appear like workers for ""do it right plumbers "" we were expecting professional plumbers that worked for this company but the workers looked like the people u would find from Home Depot .. that's wen we started to think we got fooled with the price !!! But by this time we were stuck with the contract. The job was finished in 9 hours same day but we were initially told it was going to be a Big job that will require possibly up to 3 days . In the end this experience was very costly n again gave us a bad view about companies that will take advantage of people when they are in a desperate situation !!! I WOULD not recommend this company at all watch out for Christian he might be young n nice but this one is sneaky !!! By the way don't get fooled with senior citizen discount my mom is a senior n they said they will not honor it for this job .. watch out for this company but eventually people that don't do honest business will succumb to their own bad karma in the end !!!!!

I believe they took advantage of our situation. I had my tenant hire a plumber of their choice. I leave it up to you to judge.

$300 to snake a drain.

Earlier this year, I paid only $75 to do the same, a different plumber quoted to do it for $100.

I DO NOT recommend this company. At the very least shop around to get an idea how much service should cost.

More details: invoice included a bunch of services they did not do, like camera down the pipes.

Shady business practices. I paid less than $300 (including parts!) to get a water heater installed a few months back by a different plumber, which I believe typically costs more than unclogging a drain.

All this said, I'm sure their service quality was fine. Better than any other plumber, though... ?

As others mentioned, they seem to prey on customers that may not know any better or have shopped around for pricing.

Christian and the team at Do it Right plumbing SAVED our Fathers Day.
Everything seemed to break at once.
Christian and team came out within 20 minutes..... diagnosed that it was two completely different problems (one of which did not need to be repaired.) the other was a setting that caused a major outage. He reset everything, and we were able to have a wonderful evening.

Water softener installed. Went with Do it Right plumbing. Family owned business. The tech Daniel B was very competent and professional. Excellent customer service. Will be using again if there are any plumbing issues. Very happy customer :)
