Great service at a decent rate. Danny was personable, friendly and efficient. I needed some holes in the wall patched up for a room that I was renting. Danny completed the job quickly and even offered to fix some other wall issues without extra charge. I would recommend this handyman to anyone.

I hired Danny for a couple smaller projects: Replacing a sink and faucet, installing a backsplash, and installing a bathroom fan. He showed up on time, brought the necessary equipment, and started right into the projects. He completed the work within the estimated time with great workmanship. We highly recommend Danny. He is efficient, super knowledgeable and we really trusted him. The great thing about Danny is that he seems to know a lot about everything and I felt like he could fix anything in our house. Job one was two sink repairs, wall light replacements, and 20 feet hanging electric blinds. He's doing more complex work for us next and I feel like his bids are honest and worth the price to get the job done right!

I needed my over-the-range microwave replaced with a range hood. I called Danny and explained that I wanted the old microwave removed, the current 4 inch vent pipe replaced with a 8 inch vent pipe, new roof cap installed and finally the new range hood installed. He gave me a quote and we set a date for a week later.

Danny arrived on time (actually 5 minutes early) which is a first for me with construction or repair businesses. He went in and looked at all the associated work that needed to be done and confirmed the quote previously discussed. He went to get materials, came back and got to work.

The install went well and took a little longer than either of us were anticipating. He kept everything as clean as he could during the install and after he was done he cleaned up very well.

As far as Danny goes, he's a super nice guy! He's very professional and knows what he's doing. He has pride in his work unlike a lot of others in this trade that are more interested in just getting it done as quick as possible.

Danny was the right handyman for my job! After my dishwasher died I was desperate to replace it. I needed a problem solver who could figure out how to take the old dishwasher out (that had been tiled up to) while saving my granite countertops. Danny cut the tile in front of my dishwasher to get the dead dishwasher out and install the new one. While doing the install he found a rat's nest in the open lath. EEK! At my request, ​he was happy to clean it out and wall up the whole underneath​ of my kitchen sink to prevent it from​ happening again. He is very solution oriented and doesn't give up easily. If you need someone who's up for a challenge, Danny is your guy!

I contacted Danny after reaching out to a few handymen who were pretty rude because I really had no idea what details to provide for hanging clothing racks in our DTLA showroom. Danny was pretty patient, advised what information he would need, and provided an hourly estimate for the job--all in the first phone call. Because of the noise level that comes with drilling concrete, our building only allowed construction during early or late business hours. Danny was accommodating to our early hour requests (7am). He did have to do this job twice as the original racks our company bought were too small and tugged on the wires once installed. Danny not only installed and removed the original racks, he also picked up the correct sized racks and quickly installed them before a huge show we were having. He even swept after the drilling which made for an even easier cleanup once everything was done. At times, it was difficult to get a hold of him to get scheduling going/find out when our racks would be ready (ie playing phone tag, missed calls and texts), but the end product was exactly what we wanted--clean,even, and sturdy lines for our clothing. Thanks for making our showroom look great Danny!

Well its nice to see so many wonderful reviews. Sadly, my mother and I can't say the same. After reading about all the complex work this handyman has accomplished, I was quite surprised that instead of coming to give us an estimate on the work we needed done, we were asked to send pictures. (Something I noticed nobody else has mentioned in these reviews.) So after that was done, my mother receives a call from him, and apparently we just have too much work that needs to be done. Really? I have never heard a contractor say those words. Also that's a surprise considering what I just finished reading in another review about "no job being too big or too small", or even reading about him constructing a wall or a piece of furniture. And one of the things we wanted were some overhanging structures over our doors so we would not constantly get rained on trying to come inside. But I guess that IS more work than constructing a WALL. It just seemed that there were more excuses than answers. I will however give him an extra star for at least calling us back and offering to do at least half the work we needed. I guess its better than nothing, right? That's ok. Hopefully we can get someone who actually needs the work and the money and will show up to give estimates.

Danny was fantastic. He took care of installing a hood for our range along with the vent and electrical for it. Quite a tough job. It looks fantastic and the price was fair. Definitely recommend him:)

I wouldn't call Danny Tierney a handyman, although there is almost nothing he can't do ... I call him a craftsman. I've used many excellent contractors and handymen over the years, but no one comes close to the level of professionalism, passion and talent that Danny has. He replaced some windows for me. Carefully measured once, came again to check before ordering, removed the old ones without damaging the walls, took the new windows apart to prime, paint, and put on the hardware. He removed every bit of weather stripping just so his paintbrush could get into every nook and cranny and rebuilt them, stained and beautiful and installed them with such care and meticulous attention to detail, it blew my mind. He stays as late as he needs to get the job done, no clocking off at 5pm. And each day after he's done, there's no trace he's been, he cleans everything up and removes his work station. Danny couldn't do a shoddy job if he tried, he won't rest until he's figured out what needs to be done and executed it to absolute perfection. Selfishly I don't want others to know about him, but if you can get "A" List know you're in an exclusive club with a fabulous secret ... hands down, the best handyman in town!

Danny is fantastic! He has been so helpful with every task, I first called him to install some parking cones at our office (I had contacted 3 or 4 other companies and they all told me they couldn't do it) and he was super helpful and professional! Not only was he able to install them but he also took time to look at some other issues that we were having in the office. We've since hired him back to fix some more things, and we will continue to hire him! He's so easy to get ahold of and is very personable, he has a wealth of knowledge and really spent the time explaining what exactly the issues were. We would recommend him to anyone and everyone, he's very experienced...you won't be disappointed with Danny :)
