The founders of DM Select, Dan McCarthy and Jim Workman have extensive experience in the field since the 1980s, offering services in plumbing, heating, and cooling. We are a local, family-owned business.

As one of the owners of DM Select Services, I grew up with a passion for working on cars, which led me to my first job as a mechanic at a car dealership in Fairfax. I quickly discovered that it suited me better as a hobby than a profession. With my father running a heating and cooling company, I chose to venture into that industry, and I enjoyed the work. After working with him for over 20 years, I took the leap to start my own business and later partnered with Dan McCarthy to establish DM Select Services.

I have been married to Christine since 1990, and we are proud parents of two great kids, named Brian and Sean. In my free time, I still enjoy working on cars, enjoying a round of golf, and socializing with friends.
