The founders of DM Select, Dan McCarthy and Jim Workman, have been serving the community with plumbing, heating, and cooling services since the early 1980s. We are a family-owned and operated local service company.

As one of the owners of DM Select Services, I grew up with a passion for working on cars, starting my career as an auto mechanic at a dealership in Fairfax. I worked alongside my father in his heating and cooling business for more than 20 years, which inspired me to start my own venture and partner with Dan McCarthy to form DM Select Services. I have been happily married to Christine since 1990, and we have two wonderful children, Brian and Sean. In my free time, I still enjoy working on cars, playing golf, and spending time with friends.
