I have had Dan to my house 3 times for a clogged sink, new drain in bathroom and last year water heater. He does excellent work. So I am sad to have to only give 3 stars.
I called in Feb to have a gas line installed for the fireplace, they were super busy, could I wait, sure no problem. So on April 19 I called and left a message. On April 21, I called the office and then they wanted to put me off again. I was ok with that, but could I go ahead and make an appointment for next month sometime. The answer was I gotta talk to Dan, I will get back to you. Today is April 30 and I still have not heard from them. If you don't want to install the gas line, just tell me so I don't waste my time waiting for a return call. Am so disappointed in their customer service.

Got out of the hospital following surgery and the kitchen sink backed up! When it rains it pours, I guess. Anyway, I explained my situation to DJ's Plumbing and they were sympathetic and came right out and fixed the problem at a fair price.

These are good people. And they're good at what they do. Because of their compassionate response to my situation, DJ's plumbing is now my go-to plumber for whatever I need.

Dan and his crew saved the day. Water heater crapped out on us and it was only 3 years old. Dan helped me look at the Warranty I had- and helped me get a warranty replacement locally, the same day, from Miners in Grover Beach. They drained & removed the broken one, and had the new one installed and running in a matter of hours. Great Service, very professional, reasonable pricing, and quick to respond. Would use again w/out reservation.

Dan was recommended to me by my highly recommended handyman, Lester Shea. He helped resolved what could have been a major water pressure issue alarm to a minor issue. He's pleasant to work with and knows his stuff. It's nice when you have a trusted handyman make recommendations for plumbers and electricians. Besides these professional men, the only other thing you need is a good lawyer. ;-) I highly recommend Dan, who is a full service plumber, and has added Fire Protection talents.

Came home from work to find the Gas Company had red tagged our gas supply because the meter reader smelled leaking gas. It wasn't until after 5:00 that I called Dan at DJ's Plumbing and left a voicemail. Dan called back within 15 minutes. After hearing my explanation of the problem, Dan said he would meet me at 8:30 the next morning. He and his crew arrived on time and went right to work. By noon, the gas line between the meter and the house was dug up, replaced, and the front yard landscape put back to its pre-excavation appearance!

I couldn't have asked for a better plumbing/plumber experience. Thank you Dan/DJ's Plumbing!!

Our water heater started leaking today. We had no hot water and were really stressed about getting our hot water back up and running. I called DJ's plumbing and was greeted by a very friendly receptionist. She was able to quote me on the cost and labor and was able to make sure someone was out there before the end of day.

Dan came to my house this afternoon and before I knew our new water heater was installed and we were ready to go. The price was reasonable and the customer service and care they took was exemplary. Thank you for all you do. Would highly recommend to anyone!

Dj's was recommended by several people on a local neighborhood app. Jesse came out and promptly unplugged our drain. He was very friendly during his time with us. I will definitely use this company again if needed.

I highly recommend this company for your plumbing needs. The guys are all very knowledgeable, friendly and kind. They work quickly efficiently and leave the place spotless. They also stand behind their work. We had backup problems with our kitchen sink and they came in no time and worked until the problem was resolved.

I recently had DJs fix an emergency water leak. Right before Christmas weekend. Dan, the owner, went out of his way to get a guy to come over at the last minute. Turned out to be a big job, involving cutting drywall.
The plumber did a temporary job so we would have water over the weekend. Came back with parts as promised to finish the job.
Dan himself came over to make sure the repair was done correctly. He even repaired a shower valve for me.
I would definitely call Dan again. An honest plumber!,

The old water heater in my rental is located in the garage, and it finally gave up the ghost. And like most water heaters, it can't just go away politely, or with a little notice so you can replace it at your convenience.
No, I think old water heaters are part of a dark gang. They wait until you're out of town, or until 2:00 in the morning, and then they start their watery departure, flooding everything in the path of least resistance.
I called my landlord around 10 am, who called in the cavalry at DJ's. Jessie and his crew arrived in an hour, and they finished the job in just a few hours -/ including time to get the replacement unit from my landlord's house.
Major kudos for their quick response, friendly and positive personalities, and the talent to get this challenging job done well and with helpful and service-oriented spirit.
When I own my own house again, I know who to call for plumbing projects.
