I had Dixon Plumbing come out to replace a garbage disposal earlier this year. They replaced it. However, in so doing, they did something wrong (which, to their credit, they later admitted), causing the dishwasher to leak.

They came out a second time to fix the dishwasher leak. They also fixed my second story bathtub, which had leaked.

When I had another leak--this time in my third floor bathroom--I made an appointment on a Sunday for the following Friday, 9am-10am. I waited at home--delaying both childcare for my toddler and work for myself--for this appointment. No one came. No one texted. I then reached out twice by text but never received an explanation as to why I was left high and dry. The significant disruption to my schedule merited a sincere apology. Instead, nada. I won't be using them again.

I've used Dixon services two times in the past two years. Once to replace the faucet in my bathtub and the second time to replace a water heater. Both times Mr. Dixon was quick to respond to my initial inquiry and set up the appointments quickly. It took less than 48 hours from inquiry to installation.

It's very hard to find a dependable, professional and reliable plumber, but we found one in Ken.

We had our external drain clogged after a roof replacement from all the debris, and also we had a sewer cap inside the house that a previous plumber couldn't open.

Ken was available the next day, and very calmly opened the clog, removed the old cap (which turned out was glued to the pipe), and replaced it with a new one that can be accessed easily.

It was all done in about 30 minutes, everything was kept clean and there were no issues. I highly recommend Ken and we will sure call him again in the future.

Ken and his team have been so wonderful with helping us deal with a range of issues, from capping a gas line and figuring out tapping pipes to dealing with leaks and installing sinks and faucets. Pleased that they were quick to respond and arrive in a timely manner. My issue was that other than discussing my plumbing needs to the gentleman, there was no talk of pricing or estimate for the job as he proceeded to just start working on it. Nor was there itemization for the difference in parts and labor. Took less than on hour with 2 new washers and a 1 1/2"" nut. I'm optimistic about the service I just question their transparency.
