Kevin, who came to the house, was great - he solved several difficulties around finding and repairing the source of the leak with minimal additional effect on the interior. Highly recommend

I had a plumbing emergency where water was leaking from my half bath to the basement. The water was turned off, but it was still leaking. This was explained to other 24/7 emergency plumbers, but I was told they would not be able to come out until tomorrow. I looked in the telephone book and found Mr. Dixon. I called and he arrived one half hour after my call. He fixed the problem, and the cost was very reasonable. Mr. Dixon and his
assistant (I didn't get his name) were very professional. I would recommend to everyone; you can't go wrong. Mr. Dixon even accepted a check!!!

I needed a reliable plumber to do some last minute repairs to my home in preparation for its sale. I called Dixon less than a week before settlement and he provided a reasonable quote, set clear communication bout the job status, and provided great and efficient service. They were very professional and even went above and beyond and helped point me in the direction of an electrician. Don't avoid that plumbing problem that's been plaguing your home. Believe me when I say, call them now. I will definitely be doing business with them in the future.

We had some flooding in the basement due to an obstructed drain in our yard. Although this was happening on a weekend, Mr. Dixon was very responsive and communicative. He and his crew were efficient, professional and polite. They got the job done quickly, and the quality of the work was excellent. He also kept us updated throughout the day while the work was being done with messages and photos. We're grateful to have found DIxon Plumbing and will use them again in the future.

This is the most unprofessional plumbing company that I've ever worked with. I had an appointment confirmed with them yesterday. They sent a text and called, to which I could not respond because I have two kids to take care of. I didn't want to tell him all of the stuff with my family, because it shouldn't matter, but I couldn't answer the call or his text. I'm here waiting for someone to come over to fix our plumbing, but instead, they send the plumber somewhere else. Then he proceeds to tell me that they could send someone out about an hour later. I was upset, but willing to accept this. Rather than accept this, he just canceled the appointment all together. It's one thing to be upset about the nature of our conversation. It's another to just cancel business out of spite.

Update: so I received a response back from the owner of this company to my initial Yelp review. Clearly, everyone in need of a plumber has many options when it comes to receiving the best services for their plumbing needs. When reviewing this company, I encourage caution for engaging with them if one has:

A.) children that draw them away from their phones for hours on end

B.) work responsibilities that take you away from your phone for hours on end.

Why do I recommend caution? Because you may, quite unceremoniously, have your appointment time taken away from you.

If you, fellow Yelp reviewer, are close to your phone all day and don't mind the occasional, curmudgeonly, back and forth, then this company might be for you. If you have real life responsibilities that, on occasion, take you away from your devices and you need a plumber, you may want to think twice.

As noted in my complaint with the better business bureau, this business owner would do well to let customers know that they could lose their appointment time if not responded to promptly. However, this business owner failed to do so in my case.

In the future, this business owner might do well to understand that giving potential customers as much information as possible, when it comes to appointment keeping policy, will ensure a mutually beneficial exchange. Instead, this business owner elected to cancel his business with me rather than actually work through the situation to find a solution. Despite this unpleasantness, I was still amenable to doing business with him. Instead, here we are.

TL;dr: if you're away from your phone for a while (because you have other life responsibilities) and you call to see where this business owner is, you may be told that your appointment would not be honored at the given time.
