I'm a mom trying to fix things to save money. I was sent to Dixie from another plumbing supplier who couldn't help with our faucet repair parts. Dixie could've ripped me off or said they couldn't help, but instead they gave me exactly what I needed to repair a 90 year old leaky tub faucet. Thank you for your honesty and expertise. A true rarity these days! Good Covid protocol, so you may need to wait a minute, but it's worth the wait!

They are horrible!!!!!! We waited for 3 1/2 weeks on a cartridge for a sink faucet to come in. They kept telling us, """"well call you when it comes in"""" and """"it could be back on so and so's desk"""". Very RUDE every time we'd call to check. Finally we learn today that they LOST the ticket and the part was never ordered. So NOT use these backwards rude people.!!!

Dixie is an incredible resource for homeowners and contractors - just remember that they are a bit crusty. They deal with mostly contractors all day and answering questions for FREE from clueless homeowners like me. I found these guys through my go-to contractor HandyANDY - Andy loves these guys and has know then for over 20 years. He sent me up to get parts for the master bath redo I had HandyANDY doing and these guys were delightful. Told me a funny joke and some good HandyANDY stories. They offer a ton of knowledge, great prices and straight honesty in a time that it's so lacking. If you are looking for white glove service, try elsewhere. Want great info and parts at terrific pricing? You just found the right place in cobb county! If you order parts, plug it in your phone to follow up with them.

Do not go here if you actually need a part. I ordered a shower handle, they said it would take a week... after 5 months of it not coming in, they finally said it was never ordered. So, we got them to try again... guess what, a month later no handle...two months later no handle. I went in and they found the order sheet still sitting on the counter, never ordered. So, the guy gave me my money back and said he would order it for free for me. Guess what. No handle. Never ordered it. I asked him about it a month later, if he had it and he just said """"no"""" like I was bothering him. F#$k Dixie Plumbing!

OK, so we've established that you don't meet a press secretary when you walk into the store. I'll tolerate a gruff (not found to be rude) attitude for expertise. I was sent here once by the plumbing guy at Home Depot because HD didn't have the valve stem I needed. So off I went with my broken valve stems in a ziploc bag. As soon as I walked in the door the gentleman behind the counter said """"How many of those do you need?"""" I hadn't approached the counter yet, nor had I taken the parts out of the bag. I've been in three times - they may not be the most organized people I've encountered - and the DO get busy, but they have taken the time to show me what (brass) pieces of my old equipment can be substituted for the plastic pieces of the new equipment. If you need someone who KNOWS plumbing these guys do.

I spoke to Rick to identify three separate faucet valve cartridges, all more than 15 years old. Rick asked me to photograph them, which I did and he got back to me in hours with a correct ID. I found a specialty tool at his shop, which made one of the jobs possible. Rick took his time to explain a few things, there was a small group of plumbers waiting, his shop is closed from 11AM to 12PM and I got there at noon. Rick was patient and got me out for a fair price. Most importantly I had what I needed and the parts installed neatly. His shop is geared for the trades, but he sure was good with me and I am happy to review this business!

If your a """"regular guy"""" coming in to find a part DON'T BOTHER! They will make you feel like your stupid and insignificant. Actually, the owner was chastising a plumbing company over the phone when I got there. Loud enough for everyone to hear. Very unprofessional! I Will never return or recommend this business.
