I am writing this review with a heavy heart and a sense of betrayal, as I recently experienced an extremely disheartening incident involving Jesse Bailey and his son Brxton Bailey, who visited my home in Montgomery, Alabama, to provide a service. I hired Jesse Bailey for a service, trusting that he and his son would conduct themselves with honesty and integrity. Unfortunately, my trust was shattered when I discovered that they had stolen valuable items from my home, including jewelry, a PS5, and a sound system. To make matters worse, when I attempted to address this issue with the company, I faced an additional layer of disappointment. It is profoundly distressing to realize that individuals you invite into your home for a service would take advantage of your trust and violate the sanctity of your personal space. For the sake of transparency and the safety of others, I feel compelled to share this experience with the Yelp community. Jesse Bailey's contact number is 334-425-1396. I implore anyone considering services from him or his company to exercise caution and, if possible, seek alternative service providers. I have reported the incident to the appropriate authorities, but I believe it is essential to warn others about the potential risks associated with hiring Jesse Bailey and Brxton Bailey. The violation of trust and the loss of personal belongings have left me deeply disappointed, and I hope that my review serves as a cautionary tale for others in the community. It's a shame that this company does not take responsability for this individuals actions. Jesse Bailey & Braxton Bailey (334) 425-1396 3347461531 I feel the company know about them and cover for them sin little to no help was offer by them. Thanks Eddie R. Manager .

sadly their residential door management is piss poor, rude, and I will not be using Dixie again for anything thanks to some guy Ronny. he had horrible attitude towards me and I heard him tell his tech he was going to charge me double since he thought I was a """"Karen"""". suggest calling elsewhere.

Rude technician - no help on the customer service side. Will not use them again for anything since they are only interested in charging an arm and leg whether any work was done or not

Appreciated that they could come out on a Sunday but not sure why their $170 service call fee would not be applied to bill. It didn't matter though because we thought their quote of $2,000 to replace a builders grade 50 gallon electric hot water heater was high so we got another quote and low and behold we had our hot water heater replaced for $1100. We were out the $170 Dixie charged us to come look at heater on a Sunday but who cares when we saved basically 100%. How can there be such a drastic price difference for same exact job and material?

My consultant was on time. He was very polite and we had a nice conversation while he worked. He explained everything he was doing and I felt comfortable that all the work he did was necessary. No high pressure to by a long term agreement. He showed me the benefits and let it go. I appreciated that. I will call them again.

Dixie Electric, Plumbing and Air, did an excellent job on our home. We needed some electrical work done on our new home, vanity light in bathroom, kitchen light installed over the sink and a new outlet in our guest bed room. The electricians were very professional, they did an amazing job and cleaned up everything before leaving. I would highly recommend them for work. On the downside, I signed up for their maintenance program, which, don't get me wrong, is an excellent idea and plan, but they refuse to allow us to send the monthly payment. They want to be able to access our account instead of us being able to send the payment to them. I not sure what the deal is but they are adamant that you CAN'T set up your own payment to them with their address information. It seems ridiculous given the amount of bank fraud, identity theft and scam artists around that they will not let you set up the payment to be cut every month to you. I was initially told we could do this then called back and said that I could not set this up. Yet, I was told over the phone that someone else was allowed to do this for the very reason I spoke of, which is to not ALLOW an outside entity to dip into our bank account once a month. I wanted to give them 5 stars but because of this ludicrous policy on payment of the plan I give them 3 stars.

CJ was excellent, he quickly identified the issue and presented me with the estimate before taking care of the plumbing issue. He went right to work once I gave him the OK. His work was very professional. CJ is a polite, professional. If I have more issues with my home I'll be calling Dixie to repair them.

Dixie Electric has helped us on numerous projects as we have completed a home renovation. They are punctual, professional and extremely knowledgeable. Never pushy and totally transparent. Highly recommend the Dixie Care Plan. It has saved us money and allows for ongoing support. Extra shout out to Brandon-- thanks so much for your good work!!

I don't ever write reviews but this one is warranted. I contacted Dixie Electric and Plumbing to fix a broke faucet valve. The technician, Dewayne, came out and wanted to charge $544 to replace a $7.99 valve. I have repaired these in the past and it would take a beginner DIYer 30 min to replace. The technician told my tenant that the piece had to be special ordered and that it would take a couple of days to come in. The part is sold at Lowes for $7.99. Not only did the technician lie to my tenant and try to get over on me; I compare what he was trying to do to me to attempted robbery. I would understand if the technician had to use specialty tool and deep plumbing knowledge, but the only required tools are a hex key, crescent wrench, and a phillips head screwdriver. Once I contacted Dixie and told them not to complete the work due to the extreme overcharge, it was escalated to Eddie and he waived all charges and offered to do the work for $169 (which is still extremely high for the amount of work). At least they made it right by waiving the $69 call out fee. Glad there are other plumbing companies in the River Region.

The two service techs were very professional. They identified the problem quickly and installed a GFCI outlet. They scored a 5 stars on promptness, professionalism, knowledge and service. The pricing seemed a little high though for the 30 minutes they spent. Because I was a first time customer, the $69.00 service fee was waived since work was done. That was enticing when I first called but later realized this was simply offset in the work fee. The work charge came out to $156.00 plus a TFS fee of $14.75 (no idea what a TFS fee is) for a total of $170.75. Assuming drive time of 30 minutes and onsite work of 30 minutes, that hour should have billed out at $75.00 to $100.00.
