I was really happy with Divine Electric's work! We had them install outlets on walls behind TVs and digital picture frames, route low-voltage cabling behind walls to a cabinet for the TV, install a ceiling fan, replace aging outdoor lights, and update some GFI outlets. Darin came out to our house and was very courteous and professional and provided a competitive quote. When it came to his installers, Paul and Trevor, both worked really hard to get the job done quickly, but took care to make it look as good as possible. They were both very courteous while they worked and ultimately went out of their way to make sure the job was done right, too. I would definitely use them again next time I need an electrician's expertise.

Great service by Trevor Rhaods from Divine Electric today. Called at 9.30 about electricity issues with our pool equipment. By 1.45 pm most of the broken equipment was replaced and the pool was up and running again.

I appreciated the methodical approach by first checking where the power started to wane and what could have caused it, before starting to remove and replace anything.

Overall a very professional experience.

This review is based on my initial consultation, bid and first few hours of work. Though I'm fairly confident as the large job continues, my opinion will not change. To give you the run down, we purchased our home about a year ago and thought little about the electrical aside from general aesthetic as it's only about 16 years old. We thought LED would save on the electric bill, and how the previous owner's style really differed from ours and we might swap out some fixtures. But then we began to notice we were losing the battle with our electrical and discovered scorched wiring and panicked. We called and spoke to a young woman (so sorry I forgot her name) who was just wonderfully polite and patient and took down our notes to leave for Adam who would be scheduling our work. Adam called the next morning and found an opening in Trevor's schedule and we had him at our front door in maybe 30 minutes!! (I'm sure this was a special circumstance, but it was wonderful!)
Trevor was timely, tidy, friendly, and answered every odd question that came to our minds about even future jobs while he was here. He gave us his honest opinion about the jobs we may want to do in the future and how we could go about executing them. He also worked through his lunch to get on top of diagnosing the issue that had worried us. It was just a matter of updating the switches and lighting which we had already intended to do. He provided us with safe and effective temporary fixes to get us through the next month or so before he came back in after we had painted to complete the retrofit and modern switch upgrades. He also didn't just lump all LEDs into one category, we discussed lumens and the mood of the rooms and he told me where I could go to check that out and form my own opinion and style.
Admittedly, sure we could have got a competitive quote on the job to compare it to. But we were sold on Trevor, the price felt fair and was lower that what we had estimated. In the slightest chance someone else could have outbid him...in the long run, if you're going to have someone in every room of your house for several days...doesn't it just pay to have someone that feels like a good friend in there helping you out?!
We will update this at the end of this major job, to give you an idea, the previous owner/builder had a real thing for recessed lighting and it's a large home so we will be retrofitting something like 20 lights, and each darn light seems to have a switch of its own, maybe four outlets in every room and then they will be updating our electrician smoke and CO2 detectors.
We had been dreading calling an electrician in, and Trevor just lifted all that weight off our shoulders.

They came by almost immediately to hang a chandelier from my 14 foot ceiling. Chandelier didn't come with as much cord as I was promised but they were able to come up with a solution and install another box to provide the perfect hanging length.

Trevor was great, friendly, clean and fast. Pricing was fair for expert workmanship and that's what I wanted. You get what you pay for and you don't want to mess around when it comes to electricity.

I will be calling them again whenever I need electrical work.

I would definitely recommend working with Divine Electric and Trevor. I had a job where the prior electrician never showed to finish the job. Divine heard the story, had Trevor out in a day.
Trevor, not only finished the job in the planned time but was able to do more. He was pleasant and thorough during the project review, completed the work correctly, communicated what was done and left the area spotless. The job was smooth and problem free. Thanks for the help and great job.

Outrageously overpriced, with a tiered ""premium"" pricing plan that's downright pretentious. Tech showed up and wanted to charge almost $300 just for the labor to replace a broken dimmer switch. And this was the cheapest of Divine's 7 pricing options! I hired another licensed electrican and it took him only 20 minutes and $75 to change out the switch. He didn't need to wear all the fancy gear and earpieces either.

These guys are super terrific. Each of them is very honest and respectable and friendly. I felt very comfortable having them in my home, even when I had to dash out for errands. They were on time & thorough. They give you a few different pricing options so you can think about how much oyu want to do - I liked the flexibility but be warned - they have great ideas so you end up doing more! Which was great for us - we needed to get new smoke detectors anyway:) They did a lot of small things (Highly recommend the electric plus with USB outlets - I had them come back & do more - awesome!) & some bigger things & all done very well & clean. I will keep using them for sure.

I called Divine Electric to finish a job some other company had started and reportedly was too busy to finish the project. It is not always easy to take over someone's project and finish it. Phil was amazing to work with. He gave me an estimate so I would know what to expect. He made an appointment and showed up when promised. I am now enjoying my new underwater LED lights in my water fountain and my stone column lighting. Thank you Phil.

I received excellent service from Trevor. He showed up within the 30 minute timeframe I was given, gave me a list of options to choose from in terms of the work he saw needing to be completed (and was very detailed in his explanations, especially considering I know next to nothing about electrical work), and then completed the job quickly and thoroughly. Great, professional service--I highly recommend.
