Terrible customer service. We scheduled on a Wednesday, but they couldn't come until Friday. On Friday they cancelled, saying they had another job that was more important. Rescheduled for Monday. They ghosted us completely on Monday. I left two voicemails, one email, and one text message. No response. I would definitely recommend using a different plumbing company.

Dont waste your time. They dont call back. They diagnosed my leak in the wrong spot and they said they wouldn't open the walls up to actually see where the leak was. They gave me the name of a carpenter EJ construction? that opened up the walls to find the leak and then proceeded to tell me they would do the work and canceled Diversey Plumbing who was supposed to come out the next morning. Diversey then comes out even though their own sub canceled them. I was confused by the whole process and called Diversey and Jerry didnt have the decency to call me back. I decided I didnt want a carpenter doing the work and hired a plumber who charged me $450 when their quote was $2200. Trust me, do NOT waste your time with this outfit, this wasn't the first bad experience I've had with them. AND Im still waiting for Jerrys call.

Horrible service. Waited 2 weeks for plumber to come out, only to have him walk off the job. They sound friendly on the phone, but don't be fooled these people are scammers. Also, I have a strong suspicion that the 5 star reviews are fake.

I haven't seen a worst service of this kind ever. The entire staff is super-rude, especially the owner, they don't pick up the call and if they choose to call back, they take their own sweet time , sometimes 3-4 days.
Then, the owner itself is not on the same page with their own plumber. In the end, they didn't do anything to fix the issue and eventually had to hire another plumbing service after wasting whole month with them.
Avoid them as much as you can.

I've had about 5-10 interactions with plumbers/plumbing companies over the years with some bad-to-middling experiences. But working with Diversey Plumbing on my dripping faucet was so easy and efficient that I felt the urge to write this review. Too often, we only take the time to call out exceptionally bad experiences. Time to recognize an exceptionally GOOD experience!

Special thanks to Bonnie for helping coordinate and EXTRA special thanks to Charles for being on-time, diagnosing the problem quickly, and fixing it efficiently.

I don't want plumbing issues in the future, but if it happens, I know who I'll be calling.

This is the worst review I have written, if I could give negative Stars, I would.I apologize to everyone about the length of this review. I have read previous reviews and Diversy always comes back with a justification for their substandard unprofessional behavior but beware this is probably the worst plumbing company out there.
There is some kind of disconnect between American Home Shield and this company. Submitted a claim with AHS on line and immediately got a text saying the job had been given to Diversy. I called them the next morning, a man picked up the phone and said he just got in and had to check the claims and I would get a return call, that never happened. Called back a couple of hours afterwards and spoke to Bonnie. Arranged that the service call would be Tuesday August 4 between 9A and 2P. I asked for a tighter window as I was driving in from Indiana and my rental condo was empty so just didn't want to sit there all day. She said the tech would call 1 hour prior to arriving, perfect. The issue was that the kitchen faucets were broken and needed resolve as a new tenant was moving in August 7. August 4 came and I had some running around to do in Chicago, so made it to unit by 10AM and called Bonnie around 11AM, she said someone was going to call me. Long story short, I called back at least 6 times and was continually told the plumbers were on their way. They had a busy day but would be there. Fast forward, now its after 4, called the office, talked to a man, he said ""yeah, they will call you"". I stayed in the unit until just after 620PM and had to leave. Prior to this, I left numerous messages and even texted them as indicated on their voice mail message.
Called again on Wednesday, spoke to Bonnie who did apologize and said she was embarrassed that no one got in contact with me. Arranged now that the call was going to be first call just after 9AM on Thursday August 6. I drove again to the city and was there by 9AM. Called and spoke to Bonnie again for reassurance, she said I was still the first stop. Finally received the call at 1120AM that they were here, great! Went to door to meet and brought them up to unit. They verified the faucet was broken (which I had already reported) and that they couldn't do anything and that I had to contact AHS for a buyout????? I anticipated that they may not have a faucet on the truck, so I had purchased one previously. I gave them the faucet and asked to install, they said it would be $130?? I was frustrated, didn't get it, have never had an issue beforehand with AHS, this was new to me, but needed it installed, so I agreed. Then I called Bonnie at the office for clarification as to what was going on, she put me on hold and proceeded to call the guy in my unit, presumably the boss? Some syllables came out of his mouth and he told the other guy to pack up my faucet and they just left, they were there less than 5 minutes and these two mopey Muppets just waddled out of my unit and left me standing there. I asked what was going on, the mumbling continued and said that he had to call AHS and that he'd call me later. Yes, blood was boiling, no apology for not showing up 2 days prior, no attempt to resolve issue, no professionalism, no communication. Never heard again from Bonnie and scrambled around the rest of the day and finally got a closeby contractor to do the job, but again paid out of pocket, not the way its supposed to work with a home warranty. they closed out my claim and have not heard a peep from them. Do NOT under any circumstances hire these knuckleheads. Look at all the reviews and comments and make an informed decision. Horrible, rude service period. Lets see what comments or excuses Diversy Plumbing posts now in response to this review.

Really horrible service. Do not use Diversey Plumber and Sewer. Called to ask when they could come, they said they would come between 9 am and 2 pm, but then never came, lied and said they did come when in fact they never did. Refused to answer questions about when they could come again.

Also referred to them by my home warranty company (AHS) for a hot water heater leaking. They called me promptly after AHS put in the work request. I had what I wanted in mind, which I ran by them, and they were open to what I wanted and gave me feedback. They said they would be out the next day, I didn't ask for a time frame as my boyfriend works from home so there was no issue there.

They called the next day when they were about 30 minutes away, they came, inspected the issue, and were kind and professional throughout. They called the warranty company for me immediately after the job to report their findings and called me right after to let me know to contact AHS to finalize my decision. All in all convenient and professional. I hope I get paired with them every time.

About 3 months ago my hot water heater went on the fritz and I put in a claim with my home warranty, Diversey Plumbing answered the call. They came out, installed a new water heater and all was right with the universe.
Fast forward to this past week and I call tell you how this ""happily ever after"" turned into a nightmare.
I had a contractor come to my home for work on a different project. He inspected every aspect of my home and when he entered the area where my furnace and water heater sit, all that could fall from his lips were expletives. He informed me that the piping that vents the gas and carbon monoxide from the home was not attached, thus creating a very serious situation of carbon monoxide poisoning. He felt the situation was so bad that he threatened to shut off the gas line to the heater. I called Diversey Plumbing right away and spoke with Bonnie. Bonnie was very nice and she passed me along to Jerry who scheduled the first available appointment to rectify the situation. Now, the problem begins. The technician shows up to my home reeking of alcohol. He then proceeds to argue with my husband saying how he remembered putting on the part and we must've removed it. HUH?!? What would be my purpose for removing it? Why would I put my family in danger? Doesn't make much sense, does it? The tech ""repairs"" the piping and leaves drunk and disgruntled. I sent pics of the repair to my current contractor and he was ""disappointed"" with what he saw. Now, we have to spend additional money to get the job done properly to insure my family's safety. Nothing against Jerry and Bonnie, they were great, but they should be a little more resilient about whom they hire.

Let me start by saying they have absolutely no customer service. I had pipe leaks and stoppage I called for. They half-fixed the stoppage and never bothered with leaks and left. When I called back, the plumber said it is not on my work order, not my problem and hung up. Then I called the office and they said we will get back to you and never did. Guess what they charged for it. They are very irresponsible and rude. I would not recommend them for any service. Please get a different plumber.
