We met Donzelle during a basement flood. He came out on a weekend to replace our sump pump and monitoring system. Later, he and Derek came out for another plumbing emergency. Both times we've been pleased with the work and impressed by their expertise. Don't let the laid-back style fool you, they know their stuff. Would recommend them to anyone.

When thieves stole copper pipes, leaving water to gush in property, they talked me through draining lines after water had been cut off by Fire/EMS. Then they were available to install a new gas hot water heater, with the proper license for me to obtain permit from DC DOB online. Pleasant and helpful at a reasonable rate for installation.

Donzelle was awesome. We had an emergency plumbing situation (backup flowing up through my tenant's shower drain...pretty gross), and Donzelle was the first person to respond to my requests. His communication was excellent throughout, his prices were fair, and he responded immediately. He was also able to work with the tenant to find a time that worked best for everybody for follow-up work. He didn't try to upsell or pressure us based on the situation and his quality of work was fantastic. Sent pictures and updates throughout, cleaned up, and my tenant also reported that he was very satisfied. Super professional, 5 stars.

I had an issue with my garbage disposal. After speaking with District Capital. He diagnosed my problem and gave me instructions to fix it myself over the phone, which worked. He offered to come out and take a look if I was not able to get it working. He certainly could have came over and made $300 but he did not. Unbelievable integrity. So we went with another highly rated company on yelp originally and when they came out they gave me a quote and said that it would be another week before they could actually fix my issues. The quote was insanely high, to the point I felt like they were ripping off this little lady.

I got an estimate via Yelp from Donzelle and I asked if he could come. There were a couple more follow up questions in an effort for him to dial in the quote even more and to make sure he brought the correct fixtures.

He was able to fix the leak pretty quickly - but didn't bring the correct fixtures (my fault). He came the next day though to finish the job. Also, he fixed my loose toliet seat that I've been too lazy to fix, as well as giving me some maintance tips to keep my tankless water heater working.

I've had big time plumbers come through and I've had small companies come through. But Donelle is my go to plumber from now on. He was polite, efficient, gave me a fair price, and was a stand up guy. I will be recommending him to all my friends.

We scheduled my repairs (leaking drain and supply lines) within a day's notice and he got the job done!
