The drain for my bathtub was not draining properly, and there was a foul smell comping from my toilet. Breyman was able to quickly identify the issues and solve both problems really quick without and trouble. Anyone who is having plumbing issues, I highly recommend this company. Prompt service, friendly, and honest.
The lift handle inside the water tank was broken. They replaced it, but the valve stopped working properly as well after replacing the handle (apparently due to water pressure change after turning it on/off for the lift handle repair). So they suggested I replace the valve as well. It made sense as it was an old house and these parts in the W.C. were indeed super old. After they replaced it as well, it was functional and better than before. The only thing was that they charged me an extra $50 (it was $100 but gave me $50 discount on the spot) for the unexpected the valve repair/replacement. The price, I thought, was already a little high for the simple lift handle replacement so I wish this unexpected cost incurred was just lumped into the original amount (again this problem didn't exist before and started happening after fixing the original problem).
But overall, satisfactory and quality service and the guys that came in (Breyman and Kevin?) were pretty helpful, friendly, and they patiently answer all the questions. They also made sure that everything works perfectly before they left.

Requested an appointment Sunday, Tony came the next day and replaced our kitchen sink garbage disposal in an hour. Everyone I dealt with from the person that made the appointment, to the person that called me that the technician could come earlier as I had requested, to Tony himself were all very professional and courteous.

As far as the cost is concerned, I have no reference of how much a job like this would cost in SF since most places asked to come to my house for an estimate. Some places I called charge for a non-refundable 'trip fee' that gets waived if you end up booking them. While I understand the need to come assess before quoting a price so the customer doesn't get upset, it would have been nice to get a ballpark estimate of standard/common jobs with the disclaimer that more complex work would be charged more.

For reference, this job cost about $500 for the labor. I had purchased a new garbage disposal for less than $100. Compared to another time I paid half that price for labor at a non-SF home. So I guess expect to pay more for SF.

To summarize, I would recommend Discount Plumbing Rooter next time we have any plumbing needs.
